no chance...hes built like a brick shithouse right enough ...but no better than what we have ....saw him in plenty of other games tho and did nothing ....sunday he got lucky against a pish defense ...hes an average player at best imo...the only players i would take from them is hartley and craig gordon .

 

This idea has only come up because he scored 2 against us. One good game doesnt make a good player

Unless the first two games of the season were a big coming our party, then Id say that he wouldnt find anymore time than Riorden, we already have our up and coming young striker.

We have to remember I think, that Derek scored 15, 20 and 16 goals respectively in SPL league games over the past three years, and even though I got no big beef with Lennon as a player, theres no doubt in my mind that Riorden was the guy they had to bring onto the pitch at that point in the game this past Saturday. Im hoping Gord will give him more time than he has in games thus far, unless we land a big striker via transfer, hes got to be the go to guy off the bench.

 

I just saw the Hearts game, he IS a player, and he had a perfectly good goal chopped off!

So is Hartley, when he plays!

 

Would you think he will score 20+ goals for Hearts, he is big strong and fast, also he had a 3rd ruled out. I was impressed by him in a tight game & if he can score 20 for Hearts, he could score 20+ for us.Yes. If he was only back up, i think he would be a good signing for under a million.

 

He will score 20+ this season and he is better than we already have who would you have a headless chicken (Miller) chasing shadows all day or a two footed good in the air composed striker. He's not a 1 game wonder he performed well last season and he will do again this season, so for £1m i'd say yes.

 

That's right...you want Bednar 'cause him has scored two goals with us...we don't need him...we need a great player, not a normal player...

 

He is a good player who will score plenty of goals for Hearts but im still looking for someone who is better than him as i doubt it he will make any real impact in the Champions League

 

I want a better player as well guys, he is far from my first choice, but according to WGS we haven't got enough money to buy a bag of crisps. So for the money i think he could do a job.

 

doubt 'Mad Vlad' would sell him...

thought mikoliunas was not that impresive, his first touch was poor

 

looks like a big strong centre forward which we need! don't know if it will happen though

 

The only hearts player id consider is Craig Gordon, the rest are very average

 

Bednar now an international. How bad can he be!

The only players i would take from Hearts would be Hartley & Gordon
Same old rumours of Hartley comin to celtic, herd a new one the other day, He wasnt playin for hearts in CL b'cuz he doesnt want to get cup tied for wen he * 2 celtic. Cant be true as he's been sayin huw hes hopin to be fit for the 2nd leg. Aw wel Nakas beta ahn him anyday

 

Scheidt was Scheidt, i don't think the same can be said of Bednar, plus his name isn't even that funny! At 23 i think he would have been affordable, as * only knows who we will get now anyway!

 

My point is that international caps mean * all, he's either good enough or not. He's no better than what we've already got imo.
