The management role isn't vacant, so no point discussing that. I'm not keen on the Director of Football role as I feel it undermimes the manager, so no I wouldn't have O'Neill back just now. However, I'd gladly welcome him back as manager in the future.

it wpuld be completely disrespectful to remove lenny, but if celtic are sure they want a mentor for lenny, surely it would suit everyone, lenny and oneil arw good pals, celtic loves oneil, oneil loves celtic, it keeps oneil in football till the job he is looking for comes up! As far as i can see everyones a winner!

I'd love him back. As director of football right now, but I doubt he would take on a role like that. I'm sure if Lenny has any problems, he'll be on the phone to Martin, and Martin will be all too happy to help. I just hope that if Lenny fails, Martin hasn't found another job so that he can come back to us.

Ofcourse, i think most people would take him back. The club is in a much worse state that when he started ofcourse and it would be another rebuilding job. dont know how much he would like that considering our small budgets, compared to what hes used to now, 160+ mil spend in his time at villa. And im not sure hed want to up and move here dragging his family for the director of football job..

TBO - his record of player bugdet spending is not great, when he left us his, expenditure was up there with the top 4 in EPL - thats a fact and the board argued about this - wasted a load of dough that no club can afford to loose. So end of the day , the club is in a much better place, he a cheque book manager, that would struggle big time in the modern day Celtic.
