    not got a link to it but i'm reading this mornings daily express, and its says in a part about niemeyer that:

    "Celtic boss Neil Lennon and goalkeeping coach Stevie Woods were at Motherwell last night to run the rule over Aalesund No.1, Andrers Lindegaard"

    i heard last night that solskjaer was also there looking at him for united, he's been linked with them for a week or 2 now, i've never seen him play myself but if united are looking at him he must be decent, and apparently he wasnt at fault for any motherwell goal last night, although i havent seen them



    EDIT: can someone change the title please, his name is Anders not Andreas, cheers

    what difference does it make if his team got beat?, as i said i heard he was helpless for the goals, and man utd are after him, hes a bit of an unknown really tho

    No he won't. Aalesunds out in the third qualifying round means he can play for another club in the Europa League.

    So why exactly is Man utd interested in a 26 year old keeper who is still playing in the Norwegian league? He hasn't broke into the Danish national team at all either. I'm just trying to understand why this guy apparently is so good, I've yet to see him play before and wouldn't mind being proved wrong though.

    This guy is absolut rank. Have never been first regular in any team before Aalesunds FK (a team that got deservely beat by Motherwell).

    Known as Mr. Hole-in-hand.

    He now have his five minutes of fame, thanks to Solskjaer's reputation in UK.

    Can't say I have watched him many times though... because he never played in Denmark.

    People watch leagues other than the SPL? SHOCKING! Maybe he's good enough, maybe he isn't, but if someone's seen him they have a right to their opinion.
