I agree with his point on the keepers, Heaton is not allowed to play in the cup tie and Marshall won't be getting a game for Scotland, Levien would be as well letting Marshall go back to Cardiff and calling up another keeper.

Aye he could call another keeper, but at the end of the day.....who gives a toss about Cardiff City (barring cardiff fans)?

if theres one player that ever made me go what the *? in my time watching Celtic its David Marshall hes got great ability then a couple of poor games led to him being an absolute liability. Hes like big Sammy hes a player that needs told hes doing well and the occasional cuddle ha. I think he could be back here in 5yrs time when he hits his peak but not now.

David Marshall is an average keeper. No better than Zaluska. He has pretty much failed in making the step up for the international team as well. Not for me.

Got you....me thinks thats abit harsh, i dont think he is that bad mind.

the Mighty Boruc could do no wrong, get caught out at set pieces himself
in his last year, save about no penaltys and he's was gods gift

Zaluska has not even had a chance and he's not good enough

Boruc was superb, without a doubt the best keeper i've ever seen but hey ho we all have different opinions...that's not to say Artur didn't * me off at times but on the whole he was/is a world class goalie who will be near impossible to replace and IMO Zaluska certainly isn't the answer!

(RE: Boruc last season)Artur's save against Hibs at Easter Road last season was one of the best saves i've ever seen...along with Buffon's save from Sutton in Turin!!!

POTY for that save alone??? :52::52::52:

Zaluska looks a small presence in the goal and is uncertain, plus his shop stopping is poor.

Marshall has a bigger presence and better reflexes.

    Bring him back Lenny.

Not sure. Marshall was amazing at first and then lost his confidence. Reminds me of Stuart Kerr who also did that. Remember Kerr? Retired very young due to back issues. He was truly brilliant at the off the line part of being a goalie-taking crosses and blocking one on ones. Not an amazing shot stopper but really excelled at the other stuff. Was very dissapointed the way it worked out for him after a great start under Tommy and was gutted when Gould took his place/Kerr's back went shortly after. I think we need a goalie who is particularly good at the off the line stuff. I noticed a year ago that the Aberdeen goalie (forget his name) is good at that part of the game.

Thats what annoys me about Zaluska ,he doesnt like coming off his line for free kicks or corners ,defenders thrive on seeing there keeper coming and taking the ball and maybe rattling a player aswell it oozes confidence but he needs to work at it ,or he has been told not to.?

Stuart Kerr ,Remember him well and yeah he was a keeper ,very young but did very well and was one keeper i thought we would have had for years to come .

No thanks. He's no better than Zaluska and he will never repeat a performance like he did against Barca again.

Neither Marshall or Zaluska are good enough. Zaluska's positioning is awful and he could play with his left hand in his pocket as he hardly ever uses it. Priority is a good keeper asap.
