Being honest i dont think he will be the only departure to generate funds. This report of lennon wanting another 4 players I believe due to it coming from his own mouth. Now during emirates cup we fielded 2 full teams changing players and that was without mccourt mcginn kayal and wilson not kicking a ball. This means i think some others will go including hinkel, samaras and one of the centre backs possibly crosas and some fringe guys.

i think selling aiden will fund all the other transfers, the ones already made. TM made a fir bit of debt for the club, through the compensation to sign him, transfers, no trophies or prize money, and then sacking him. so i wouldnt be disappointed if the money made from mcgeady went into clearing the debt, putting the club in a better position financially, so that in january lennon can spend if he wants.

 

might not be the worst thing to happen selling him? after all we get in 10m! we spend it on the team and make ourselves stronger! not the end of the world is it?if he signs? theni wish him all the sucess in the world and thank him not for making our club 10m from him! but his efforts over the years. now young forrest could be the man to fill his boots?

 

I think Russia could be a good move.their game is on the up,u only need to look at results in Europe over the last few years,the Europa cup in particular.they all have nice stadiums and plenty of Brazilians in their league.

Its not his fault if the club are waiting for his sale to bring in some newer players, Lennon should have priotorised a Left Back when appointed. now were facing into the season without a capable left back which has been the achilles heel of the team for about 7 seasons now.
