BTW, Can anyone tell what happened bout an incident above the Celtic fans section ( the goal bit). All the fans were waving to him or something. He did something then the steward took him away. he was near the balcony. What did he do ?
I am dying to know ?

Also why were the Arsenal fans booing Flamini when he touched the ball ? Thanks

 

I think they see Flamini the same way we see Liam Miller as a mercenary but Im not sure of the facts around Flamini.. Im sure he was offered a new contract at Arsenal but don't know if it was good money because previously he'd only been a bit part player but seemed like he'd improved and looked capable of nailing down a first team place..

negatives for me were zaluska dodgy need a new gk,cbs ok but badly need a new cb,mulgrew was terrible badly need a lb,hinkel was shocking quicker he goes the better,crosas terrible,murphy stuck in midfield when he is a striker,ki im not convinced by him and rass was ok but i would replace him,and also we are terrible at defending cks and when we dont have ball we dont work hard enough to shut down,juraez was good so get a gk,cb,lb and poss another striker

I saw that, this Arsenal fan was just giving it all game shouting etc and provoking, then it draw loads of crowd attention then we all started shouting songs at him etc, then he got arrested for presumably breach of peace.

I saw stewards snatching a Germany flag off a Celtic fan which I thought was quite out of order, he was sayin he was German and calling them racists and pointed out that there were spain, italy, scotland, england, brazil, france flags all over the ground so I don't see why they felt that they had authority o take a flag.

 

They took his flag? I never noticed. I sat right above the Celtic end. Atmosphere was amazing.

 

Yeah that's where I was sitting with some other Celtic fans.

If that idiot was throwing stuff down and shouting, then he got what he deserved. There is a fine line between team rivalry banter and creating tension in a good atmosphere.
On the incident, taking away the German flag, it so stupid. There are alot of International Celtic fans who bring their country's flags to matches especially if their national players are in the Celtic team or rival team. Also, The Steward should know better that Celtic have the widest fan base worldwide.

Is it me but did anyone think there weren't as many flags as usual ?

I didn't go to the saturday match, in terms of the atmosphere which day was the best ? I heard it was sold out on saturday.

It was awesome ! I wish I could go back in time an relive again

 

the celtic fans got a bigger allocation on the sunday so id say the atmosphere was better on sunday
i was sitting with the home fans but there seemed to be no trouble and even when we celebrated and had a go at the ref the arsenal fans were fine
the celtic fans were great and did the club proud

 

I thought the celtic fans were excellent, couldnt believe how quiet arsenal fans were, great atmosphere behind the goals we scored the 2 goals in to. on the pitch, mulgrew and hinkel were poor, we could do with a keeper too. was impressed with ki and juarez.

m8 he buried 4 pens against teams in the US and against Man utd, he's allowed to miss 1 lol
Plus he played well after that.

Thought Ki was impressive too but we REALLY need a new GK ASAP!
