First of all I am a Rangers fan but I come in peace. I actually need your help.
We are arranging a small gathering for my Gran's birthday this year (she's 90 and the rest of the family are celtic fans) so we are taking her to the Number 7 restaurant at Parkhead. Anyway I am in charge of organising the cake, we have decided on a white cake with mini Celtic shirts on it, on these shirts I want to put the names of the Lisbon Lions and their number ( I know these weren't on the shirts back then) but it will mean something to her.
So I have a team list but I'm hoping one of you could post who played in which number. I would be very grateful. Also am I correct in assuming Ronnie Simpson's shirt was plain green? Every image I see is in black and white.

Even I will admit they were a great team. I have to say my soft spot was for Jimmy Johnstone.

If your family is Celtic, how did you end up a Rangers fan?

I think it was my form of rebellion, I'm sure Dad thought i would grow out of it. Him being from Rutherglen he certainly hoped I would.
He used reverse psychology in things like drinking etc and I never did those so he must have thought yes she can support rangers and I would do the opposite. It never happened and well even with the bad seasons I've stuck with them
You get good banter in the family over the football though. it's been a bit one sided at my expense recently but hey that's football fo you.

I'd just like to thank those of you who helped me with names for my gran's cake. We had a great time yesterday at Parkhead and even I have to admit the place is impressive.

Just called up Parkhead and arranged a time and date for the meal. All the times and info is on Celtic's website. Well worth going even if it's not a special occasion, the food is great, service fab...only complaint I had is there was a lot of green and white about, couldn't understand that. :)

Had no chance of converting anyone to my side, if I mentioned rangers I got told off for swearing.
No joke a nun came in with another lunch party and asked for the tv to be switched on so she could watch rangers get beat.
