    according to the evening times shakter have said they turned down a bid of £7 million from feyenoord recently also says he enjoys a current wage of £30,000 tax free per week.If thats true theres no way he will be coming to paradise unfortunately.

    Wasn't it said that Shakhtar turned down an offer of £3million for him? If it's £7million then theirs more chance of the pope turning protestant than us getting him.

    Someone from the competition here :86: .

    Joined the board to see if there's any 'inside' news about this transfer.

    I was surprised to hear Feyenoord raised their offer to 7 million today, but mind you, this is probably in Euros. I can never believe that Feyenoord will pay 7 mill pounds for a player. 7.000.000 Euros is the highest they've ever paid for a player (Danko Lazovic, worked out really well :47: ).

    Timoschuk himself said that both Feyenoord and Celtic do want him, but there's other clubs too! From what I've heard, Inter and Fiorentina are contenders.

    He said about the Scottish Premier League that there are only 3 or 4 good clubs and the rest is not so good. From what I've heard so far, he'd rather move to Holland than to Celtic, but in all honesty, I don't know how much of this is true.

    Hello Celtic FC fans! What can I tell you about Anatoliy Tymoshuk. He is a world class defensive/holding midfielder. In the Ukrainian National Team he's the lead man, the leader in the midfield and the guy who does all the work. He was the leader in Tackles at the 2006 World Cup before the Final (The other 3 players above him who went up after the final played more games than him). He's very hard working and appears everywhere on the field and can get a team out of tight spots to send into counter attacks. He's one of the best defensive midfielders out there today... Hope a team that I like like Celtic gets him! I can tell you that whever he will go, whatever that team will pay for him, they will realise that wasn't enough after he starts playing!!! :shamrock:

    Apparently we have had a bid of 3 million (unsure if pounds or euro) turned down....Shatkar seemingly value the player at twice this amount and have called Celtic's offer insulting
