for its a grand auld team to play for

Lawwell sounds no bad, snag is he mentions the need for two players which we are bringing in.
Well I feel that its been left a bit late, hope not, but we are down 5 points already out of a possible 12, we are soon going to playing CL fitba, and in my opinion a biggy he is overlooking, or not referring too, is we need a backup goalie and I mean a good yin, also we are weak in the back central defense, Caldwell is suspect, and Balde well, y`all know I know he is a * liability.
So haud on to your seats because good signings they may be, we are in for one helluva ride, as a team and squad if you think we are anything like where we should be thanks to those responsible delaying, I think we are way behind schedual! :87:

It's great to see him shine with the Celtic-shirt, allthough i'm a PSV fan.

I think / hope he will make a big impact in Glasgow. He's great in every sense. He's very underrated in Holland and people who don't know * about football are like always making jokes about him. But hey, were talking mostly about the fans of the 'sons of *' as they call themselves Ajax, and we see how they did yesterday :84:

Fact is that he helped PSV Eindhoven to 2 of there best years ever! Both European and national!

He's got a great character. He never complained, he's all no-nonsense, no arroganttalking. He knows what his abillities are and what he's less good in. That makes him dangerous like *. He always works and works, and he's a real teamplayer. Got eye for his fellow teammates en often produces nice assists. He's the kind of striker who can get the pressure of the defence, because he can always recieve the ball through long passes. He uses his body well and got great fysical skills! Also he's a decent finisher. He hadn't had his best year for PSV last year, but that makes me even more convinced that he will make an impact this year. He's in the best form of his life and his best years are to come at his age!

Hope you guys have some decent free kick + corner takers because Vennegoor is one of the best i've ever seen..

I don't know if you saw it, but like 5 years ago he made a very important goal vs Leeds Utd in the last minute which made PSV through to the next round. But that goal express all his good in his character. He heads the ball just on willpower (willing power ?? don't know the word) and made such an effort to score. He ended up with blood everywhere but he didn't care; his club stunned through to the next round!

Don't expect much technical skills, he's not an ordinary Dutch striker. But he can shield the ball well and be a real targetman. He's a player you'll miss like * when he's gone.

CHEERS and goodluck! Hope to see you guys in 2nd round CL and I will follow Celtic's results with great attention, especially in Europe.

Boruc, Balde, McManus, Jarosik, Petrov, Hesselink - could be a strong backbone for us.

Great to see VOH in hoops. I think he could prove to be a great player for us. Got a great laugh when I saw the picture of him holding up his new Celtic jersey with his name on it. His name starts halfway down the back on one side and goes all the way around the top and half way down the other side. That's some serious added cash if you want his name on the back of your jersey lol. Very excited by this signing:celt_2:

Yeah I agree, Maloney has to play. He's fantastic and a real threat to anyone.

If we got Gravesen that would also be fantastic. THe midfield would look very good.

That quote above could describe Henrik Larsson to a 'T'..........If he gives us anything like the service that man gave us then the big fella will be OK in my book!

Looking forward to see him in action. I think Miller and Magic will benefit from having his presence up front with them.

I said it last season that Magic works best with Hartson, ie a Target Man, he was poaching alot of goals of BBJ's knock downs and this season he has done little along side Miller. I reckon there will be a big improvement in Miller and Magic's performances aswell
