Could you fit Riordan, Maloney and McGeady into the same team?

McGeady has a long way to go before he can even get into the 1st team imo

Well if its for Tonight Maloney is out injured, but if it was for SPL+CL games i would play Riordan+Maloney together and have McGeady as back-up on the Bench as I feel most times Adien likes to keep the ball and when he comes to pass the ball he screws it up(still a good player but too greddy!!)

    Naka,Jarosik,Lenny,Maloney
    Magic,Riordan!!

That would be my Midfielld+my strikers

i'm afraid aiden is second choice behind naka, although in saying that i prefer to watch mcgeady than naka anyday of the week. He's the sort of player that gets fans to their feet because he's constantly in the defenders face.

I know GS will go with Lennon but that would be my choice to include all three

I'm sorry lads but if anyone watched pre season games. You would have to say McGeady has been our best player so far!:celt_2:

I feel that they could fit in the same team, but won't because of Strachan's insistance upon playing Lennon. We'll most likely line up with Maloney, Lennon, Graveson, Nakamura (left to right). I think if we played with Maloney, Graveson (defensive), Nakamura (best position is in the middle), McGeady with Riordan partnering Zuraw we would do alright. All depends on the defence of course.

McGeady is not a starter, he's too stupid with the ball. He gives it away too much and he runs into traffic with his head down.

Thankfully Lennon is suspended for the 1st game. Hopefully we sign another central midfielder who plays so well with Jarosik against Killie that the partnership cannot be broke up, and we all live happily ever after...

McGeady has played nearly every game in pre-season and has set up maybe 3 chances and had a couple of shots yet you have people claiming he's been our best player! He is our "creative" midfielder yet doesn't create, he nearly breaks thru the defence or nearly finds a man with a thru ball..... You also have people falling over themselves to include Riordan in our team when he literally has not kicked a ball, Beattie neither. At least Miller has tried to create, i'd keep him in.

So it is the sole responsibility of McGeady to create from midfield. What have the other 3 been doing, certainly not been protecting the back 4 as they have been generally dominated in every game. Due to this domination it makes it harder for mcGeady to create, so al things considered he has done well.
Miller has been doing a Pauletta impersonation

Utter tripe. McGeady had plenty of the ball and room to use it in all the games bar the DC one, in fact, Maloney looked more dangerous by far in the small part of the DC game he was given. McGeady needs to improve his distribution and decision making before he can take Maloney or Nakas place. Miller has delivered good crosses and looked full of running whilst also trying to hold the ball up which clearly isn't his game.

McGeadys attitude has been great for these games. He has also looked fitter than most of his team mates. He will be pushing hard for a place which will be great for the team. I suspect, no matter what he does the knives will be out for him from a sizeable section of the celtic support.
