No disrespect taken, I think your absolutely right... I originally came on here, see what you guys were saying about GH the other day, and quite like the level of conversation and read quite a few threads... So have stuck around a bit.

in all seriousness Celtic is obviously bigger than Norwich in everyone possible way..apart from we have the Sky money. Example, have a look where they sell Celtic tops, probably in every corner of the world. Norwich shops, don't even sell Norwich tops.

I concur that whoever Hooper moves to, one day he will realise just how big a legend he could have been at Celtic. Moving on to say Liverpool, Celtic fans will hold their hands up and say fair enough, but Tinpot team like Norwich, is going to hurt Celtic fans... i fully get that and understand it. Luckily for me, fans on here, haven't taken offence at my presence.

I don't think Hooper or his agent, have worked out what damage he's doing...probably still be financially better off if he stays at Celtic, gets say 20-25k a week deal + image rights. I could see with all the Celtic fans worldwide, with the right people those image rights could be worth a fair wack.

But the lad does need to realise, he's gonna be living on scraps at Norwich. Holty got 4 goals this season, and generally he can finish, ok he's no RVP but he aint no Heskey. We're just not creating chances, and if in 18mths, he's got less than 10 goals, he could find himself getting stick for not delivering the goods.

I would imagine football is great whilst everything working out for you, and fairly * when it's not. So when you find a club you can be a legend, win loads of trophy's, decent amount of cash... seriously why would u leave.

I wasn't expecting Hooper to sign any contract extension anyway.

I'll be very surprised if he goes in this transfer window, I reckon he'll stay until the summer.

Would love if he signed an extension and just stayed, but that isn't going to happen to I hope he just signs it, gets his bumper deal for the next few months before going for a higher fee which reflects his talent in the summer. Though his agents probably saying to him that if he signs the deal, the ball is firmly in our court n he mightn't be able to push for the move as much / other clubs won't pay the higher fee required.

If he wants to go then albeit let him, for it won't be good having an unhappy player languishing around. Don't think anyone really knows the full story but I think that when he goes, he'll be harder to replace than we think.

I'm worried about him not signing a new contract. Could be a sign that he's for the offski?

He will be terribly missed, fantastic player. Absolutely fantastic.

I really don't think him going to Norwich will enhance his chance of an England call up...they already have grant holt who IMO is jst as gd as hopper, the only reason he's being mentioned for England is the fact he's playing in the champions league.

i'd be totally shocked if he gives up a crack at the quarters of the CL to battle relegation with a club like norwich.

When he leaves he'll go with my blessing and thanks. Unless he fannies about with his contract and ends up * off for nothing.

Get him on a new contract and see if we can squeeze another year out him.

I want him to enter the centurion club. 29 to go...

I'll never understand what goes on in some people's minds. Stay at Celtic, become a legend, win trophies and compete in Europe or go to a team who will in reality probably never win a trophy in his time there & struggle to stay in the top league.

If he wants to go, more the fool him. £10m and I would take it. Let's be honest, the biggest game we have left is Juve, we more than likely won't progress, hope I'm wrong right enough. Every other game we should be able to win without him. So if he's going to be unhappy and unwilling to sign a new contract just sell him. We've lost better.
