Its fast approaching the start of the SPL and still we don't have a left back. GS will have to get a move on and resolve the Kadlec issue or find another option.

I have a bad feeling that GS is going to play Mark Wilson left back with Paul Telfer right back.

Its looking that way if his selection in the pre season games is anything to go by...

IMO Telfer will start RB because GS will not drop him , we were lucky last season we can't take any chances with dodgy players especially in the CL...

So in imo Celtic could fall behind Rangers and Hearts very quickly if signings are not made

Yea it will be a difficult season for us, but it will be between Celtic and Rangers. Hearts are one season wonders:50:

i would still prefer another striker rather than a left back as i cant see us scoring in the CL at all if we dont

I think both are equally important.

We have a hard start to the season and after hearts go out of the CL, they could get off to the same start as they did last season plus I have seriously low expections for Kenny Miller and we need to score alot of goals to bail our defence out:celt_2: :shamrock:

I think WGS will go withe Telfer at right back and Wilson at left back untill we get someone suitable in but we have till the end of the transfer window to bring someone in!

Stephen Crainey was a good left back for us, don`t know why we let him go..anyway Charlie Mulgrew could do the job i think.

Jarosik is top class . i knew that even before we signed him..he will be a very important player this season for us no ends... also need time for some other players to gel and get fit. as for mulgrew he wont do for left back .. hes good at going forward aye but get found out he cant tackle a fish supper imo.. so we need another defender at least and possibly sell petrov get another midfielder in and a forward hopefully.. 3 players would do. nicely... i would really like to see another backup experienced goalie too coz if boruc ever gets an injury were fecked... will have to get * in gear tho. 13 days n all..im sure theres lots of work going on behind the scenes atm.. so will have to wait an d see i guess.. oohh the suspense :celt_2:

p.s. - ian harte aint celtic class hes done . Kadlec is tho.

Think we will start with Telfer & Wilson .
as the thread says though 13 days left ,most of the transfer action always seems to take place on the final day anyway ,so there is still hope yet !!

Yip playing good for Dundee Utd for a few months makes you a superstar.

If you have watched the games against Newcastle, Man Utd and Polish games you would have seen he isn't ready yet.

Take him into the CL at your peril.
