aye theres no 2 ways about it ... hes gotta be pumped in this transfer window... said too much .. ran his mouth off ... for those who would like/ need to keep him... need * all players come n go and basically hes worse than a man down anyway with his antics ... he dont wanna play for us ..therefore theres only one option staring in the face. GET RID !

If you look at my earlier posts I have been defending him but not nomore he is just getting igronont now and all I can say to him is Bye Bye.

 

Petrov when on form and NOT going AWOL during games was a verygood worker and player, never great at scoring goals but no bad, however for seasons now when Tic fans were saying he was world class and a great player, I said even then his peripheral vision was not that good, and he was inclined to go breenging forward.
I dont know what our esteemed management was offered for him, but once again they are fukcing up, we have in him a player that is determined to NOT play for the club with heart, and probably unlike most fans I dont think he is worth 5 million, and we should take 4 million if offered which I doubt?

 

i dont think pertov is worth as much as some fans think... hes no where near as gd as he was when he was when henrik was here.. has the odd great game but i havent seen 'petrov' for a few seasons

He was referring to the beginning of last season, when the captaincy was up for grabs and Petrov never mentioned leaving. I agree that giving Lennon the captaincy was a mistake, however I'm not too sure if it would have made much a difference in the long run re: Petrov. It was Petrov's agent that changed his mind, not Lennon or Strachan.

 

the petrov situation is getting a bit boring , let him go for 5m its no good for us holding on to him.

If, and I stress the IF, Petrov has been acting like a child then we should treat him like one. We have paid his wages now for a long time. It's about time he wised up. Who would want to risk £5m on a player who will throw a tantrum when a bigger English club come in?

Lennon has deserved the captaincy as he has Celtic at heart. I couldn;t ever imagine Mr Petrov taking a pay cut to stay with us. The last thing Petrov needs is something extra to make his head bigger. Giving him the captaincy would have made him more arrogant. He doesn't deserve it and should never ever get it. He was a good servant but sure he's undoing it all right now!

 

i was on here giving petrov some backing when the first transfer request came in, saying we shouldn't boo him. not now though, i just want us to get rid of him. take the * 3.5 million for him.

take not less than 5 mio. if nobody wants him, put him the whole season on the bench or he shall be playing for the reserves.

 

i would honestly take the 3.5 million offer from portsmouth. the guy has completely sickened me that i would gladly take a lesser fee to watch him fight out a relegation dog fight.

If we only took 3.5 due his behaviour he would have won. Dont know if that was his strategy or just everything went that (unlucky) way.
