petrov sent packing

i was told today petrov was sent home from the states appartently during the game agaist chivas when lennon was subbed he was handed the captains armband and he threw it on the ground and thats why mcmanus was captain for the rest of the game

 

He didnt play

 

It was the DC Utd game that LEnnon passed him the armband and he threw it to McManus

well if he has been sent home good enough hads he no respect thats the final nail in the coffin now lol throwing the armband down is a disgrace he knows that would help him on his way so * him any respect i had for him is gone for doing that and he was 1 of my favourite players 2!!

personally i put a lot of the blame on his new agent for turning his head!!!

 

dont blame him, id be raging if i was a player of petrov's ability and was understudy to neil lennon of all people.

I dont think he has been sent home. Nothing at all in the press. If he had been sent home it would have been out by now...

i was happy when i saw the title.. thought celtic had seen sense n got rid of him since he no longer wants 2 b here.... lenny is the best bhoy for the job thats y hes captain... stan is becoming to arrogant for my liking.. ill b sorry 2 c him go cause hes been great for us over 7 years...... but the sooner he leaves the better

 

When Petrov signed the new contract he says he only done it as a favour to celtic so we could receive a greater transfer fee for him so why the * is he sulking coz we wont accept around £3m from Portsmouth wheres the favour ? Anyway if guys like his agent & Stoichkov have convinced him that fighting relegation with portsmouth is a greater challange than competing against europe's finest in the champions league with Celtic then his mind is screwed & we should let him go........................For £5m. i was always a bigfan of petrov but im totally sickened with the way hes handled this transfer pish.

 

To this day it was a mistake not to make Petrov the captain instead of Lennon, Petrov is the longest serving player..and was the best player in the team. I think he was unhappy ever since that...who knows??

 

like i said before the wee * owes me 15 quid for that book of his.

 

This Pewtrov situation is not being handled very well, and it will get worse!

Realistically he should have been sold by now ... if we get 5m for him get rid.
well done the tic tho for not accepting 3.5 or 4.5. i think ... hold the ba***rds and player to ransom ... even if we do sell him for 5m thats still a bargain for any team... easily worth that ... if barry square baw they say is worth 6m or watever... petrov is worth 8m then... but all because he plays in scotland ya will always get the cheap chancers with snide bids...

for talks sake lets say we sold him for 5m to pompey ... if he became a standout in thier team after 1 season and another team was to come in for him ...pompey wouldnt let him go for less than 8-10m coz of premiership ... pish really.
