    No idea at all.

    Marshall was terrific.

Boruc will start the season as no.1 but Marshall couldn't have done much more.

The official MOTM is usually nonsense.

Last season Naka was the best player on the park many a time and never seemed to get it.

Well, having seen or at least hear the matches, what do you all think about MLS and DC United / NE Revs in particular?

    MLS has progessed.

    American soccer is going somewhere.

Future USA forwards, Adu, Dempsey and Johnson.

The MLS team looked fit, well organised and well coached. The staduims looked good too. DC looked particularly impressive because as well as having the three things I mentioned above they also have Adu who looks like a real quality player and someone I expect will play for one of the big guns in Europe in a few years. NE Revs lacked this bit of added quality I felt that could open us up and cause us serious problems.

However, in my opinion the key to the MLS teams success in our tour was match fitness and sharpness. The MLS league is about half way through while Celtic have only been back training for a few weeks. Celtic are also without Boruc, Naka and Zurawski who played in the WC and Balde and Maloney are injured. These are 5 key players for us. Therefore, there is not a 4 goal differenece between the sides. The fact we played 30 mins with 10 men also was a major factor in the final outcome. So basically what I'm saying is that DC looked good and were the stand out team we played against in the tour (including Poland), there is not 4 goals seperating the sides by any means.

Was anyone ells impressed with Sno last night? Gordon Strachan said he has everything but experience, last night he looked as if he had a * load of experience and was very confidant on the ball.

I thought Sno looked really composed on the ball, and rarely wasted a pass, Jaroisik looks class, McGeady looked alright as did Pearson and Quinn, Miller looked pretty poor as did Virgo, and I'm not at all convinced by the Caldwell/McManus partnership.
Marshal was my MOM, outstanding saves from him, should keep Boruc on his toes!
