Barcelona have a sort of sponsor for next season.

They are going to have Unicef on the shirt for European games, in support of that charity.

No he isnt, Dempsey you have a couple of times said people were wrong me included and we were correct, back in the 70s Coors were very anti union, and they are conservative, I believe they have changed a wee bit, but if this is the case its because it was prudent finacially to do so.

Since Carling are owned by Coors surely you won't be buying ANY celtic stuff from this season/past couple of seasons?

hey i mean i think its a legitimate point and i didnt know that they had anything to do with one another till it was mentioned but i mean for some people in the forum who might be conscious of the companies that they support i think its interesting to mention

Coors are right wing Republican conservatives!

    By Keith Coffman
GOLDEN, Colo., July 13 (Reuters) - Beer-brewing magnate and former U.S. Senate candidate Peter Coors was arrested in May for drunk driving, the chairman of the Coors Brewing Company said on Thursday.
"I made a mistake by driving myself home after a friend's wedding celebration," Coors, 59, said in a written statement. "I should have planned ahead for a ride."

Coors spokeswoman Kabira Hatland said Coors was pulled over in the driveway of his Golden, Colorado, home late on the evening of May 28.
A Colorado State Patrol officer had seen Coors roll through a stop sign near his home and a Breathalyzer test showed Coors' blood-alcohol level was above the legal limit, state patrol spokesman Gilbert Mares said.
Mares said Coors was cited for running a stop sign in addition to being charged with drunken-driving.
Coors, the great-grandson of the company's founder, Adolph Coors, ran unsuccessfully on the Republican ticket for the U.S. Senate in 2004. He also has served on the board of directors of the Molson Coors Brewing Co. (TAP.N: Quote, Profile, Research) (TAPb.TO: Quote, Profile, Research) since Coors merged with Canada-based Molson in 2005.
A father of six, he frequently appears in television commercials for the brewer, cautioning against abusing alcohol, a fact he noted in the written statement.
"For years I've advocated the responsible use of our company's products. That's still my message and our company's message," he said.
Coors is scheduled to appear in court on July 20.

I think the strip looks much better with Coors Light than the big ugly carling logo.

Means to me that Coors are NOT good sponsors, for a club that was founded on charity, thats what!
