People don't realise how hood he is. He pretty much carried our team 2008/2009 but last year his form dipped. If he leaves who will step up McCourt , mabye for a game or two but will get injured ( I love the 1 or 2 games though) he won't be able to consistently fill the gap. Maloney, don't think so he is no where near mcgeadys ability. Then people Moan at his final ball which I agree could be better but I think he still had the most assists in 2008/2009. If we do indeed sell him we need to bring in a quality winger not one who's ok with slot of potential

in my oppinion if this deal aint done in the next 48 hours then itl never happen as i believe if mcgeady aint sold he will play on wednesday. mcgeady will know from his agent if their as any other teams interested in signing him. ive always felt that this deal will never happen i know he is being offered alot of money but he aint short of a bob or two as it is. i think he knows that at the age he is he needs to make the right move. its a big decision leaving a club the size of celtic. yes if he goes to the epl he will be going to a bigger and better league and can earn more money but he will be signing for a smaller club and sacraficing winning trophies right now he is a big fish in a small pond and who knows if he doesnt improve his end product he might end up sitting on the bench at villa if thats where he does end up. hopefully this will get sorted as quick as possible that way we can have the most amount of time to spend the money but somthing tells me that this is gona drag on .
