    Likely Line Up

    Zaluska

Cha Du Ri Hooiveld Rogne (Mulgrew/Misun)

    Juarez

    Brown Ki Ledley

    (Maloney/McGeady/McCourt/Samaras)

    (Rasmussen/Fortune/Murphy/Samaras)

4-1-3-1-1. Changing to 4-2-3-1 for tough away games.

I know Mcgeady and Samaras are likely to be away but this formation allows for the others mentioned to come in and play without changing the system. The system should be the most important part of the equation, with the players knowing exactly their role within the system. With squad players like Hinkel, Crosas, Loovens, Wilson, McGinn all able to play their part.:celt_2:

    Zaluska

Cha Du Ri Hooiveld Rogne Mulgrew

    Juarez

    Brown Ki Ledley

    Maloney Samaras

Cha looks menacing. Mulgrew looks solid. Ki (Sacred Dragon) is a great playmaker, start him this season. His counterpart the Blue Dragon Lee Chung Yong has become a star in Bolton, we should see what he can do.
Lets hop Samaras has a good season.

That team would score 100 plus in the SPL imo and youd havte fancy a run in europe too. Too bad the board aint as ambitious as us Celtic fans

Dream (But Still Possible) Line UP

    James

Cha Du Ri Campbell Rogne Mulgrew/Misun

    Juarez

    Brown Ki Ledley

    Bellamy

    Keane

4-1-3-2. Dont have to change for tough away games:86:

I know Bellamy, Keane, James and Campbell are longshots due to the money demands in both transfer fee and wages, but its not as much as a dream as you might think. Hear me out..................

    1. Boruc away £2m and £25000pw = 4.6m over 2 years
    Give James 2 year deal at £35000pw = 3.64m

    2. McMannus away £1.8m and at least £15000 = 3.36m over 2 years.
    Give Campbell " year deal at £3500pw = 3.64m

    3. McGeady away £8m and at least £22000pw = 11.43m over 3 years.

    4. Samaras away £2m and at least £18000pw = 4.81m over 3 years.

    5. Fortune away £2m and at least £20000pw = 5.12m over 3 years

Give Bellamy £6m And Keane £8m both 3 year deals at £50000pw plus
cut of image rights = 29.6m.

    Money In Boruc 4.6m
    McManus 3.36m
    McGeady 11.43m
    Samaras 4.81m
    Fortune 5.12m

    Total In 29.32m

    Money Out James 3.64m
    Campbell 3.64m
    Bellamy 13.8m
    Keane 15.8m

    Total Out 36.88m

This leaves a deficit of 7.5m over 3 years. 2.5m a year to facilitate these deals is not a huge outlay considering the experience and skill level of the players coming in.

Add to this the inreased revenue through the extra season ticket sales and merchandising and we are quids in. An extra 10000 seats at £500 over 3 years = 15m.

I know some of these figures are purley guesswork but think I have been conservative in using them, and also attractive enough to the guys coming in. No loans, our players. And the above scenario actually leaves us in 7.5m profit over the 3 years, so I dont see why the board cant make this happen.

I reackon it will be a good old 4-4-2 when playing in the league. Any hard/away european games then a 4-5-1

Think the formations used in pre-season (4-3-3) will be used most of the season. It allows the WF's to drop back and support the FB, going to 4-5-1 when on the backfoot but 4-3-3 when we are attacking and dominating.

    Team so far:

    GK - Zaluska
Def - Cha - Hooiveld - (Loovens/Rogne) - Mulgrew (although we still need a LB)
    Mid - Brown - Juarez/Ki/Crosas - Ledley
    Fwd - Maloney - Rass - Sammy/Fortune.

This team still desperatly needs a finisher and a CB but I'm confident that will happen.
Now this wouldn't be my choice, I prefer 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 (5-3-2) but since we don't have the players to correctly apply this system then I think it'll be what Lenny has been using so far.

I was reading the paper today and after the Kayal and Hooper deals we have spent over £10m.
I cant believe with that amount of money spent that we still have bought a centre back, Gallas or the Real Malocra guy possibly?
