Sammy - 1 last chance

i would give sammy another season hopefully he will be more consistant

 

he can be so very frustrating, but deffo has the ability to make it. i thought his performance in the 1-1 game v the huns last season was immense, he chased and fought for every ball and did everything but score that day.

he just needs to show that effort and desire every week, i think if no other strikers are signed we shud give him 1 more season.

if he doesnt reach the consistency needed, sell him!

 

he's not constant. In some games I really got weired when I saw him on the pitch...

 

well its a 50-50 because if we keep him and he keeps the fourm he should aginst man u then he will be a great assest to the squad but it we keep him n he is a complete flop like he was last season the were stck with him to januray

 

we need better players than him

 

But when you seen Henrik helping back, "Well in Larsson brilliant!" just basically looking for a reason to slate Sammy.

Sammy isn't gonna change. No need to talk about a second chance. He will be the same player, as he have been the whole time for Celtic.

Good pace, seems to be good motivated when coming on from the bench. Always seems to do a honest day work, IMO.

But he isn't born to play in tiny areas, he is easy to get the ball off when he can't use his pace, and haven't any natural finishing touch.

If a fair offer comes up, I would let him go. But ATM he is a Celtic player, and should at least be considered for the bench. And games where we have to play with counter-attack in mind, in Europe.

 

thing is, he has got the ability to be a decent player for us, its clear when he is in one of his good spells that the ability is there. but when things arent going his way he just gives up on it, whereas if he worked harder, and made it clear that he was determined and trying his best, then atleast he wouldnt be the scapegoat of the team.

I think he is best either getting on the end of things, or latching onto a long pass. He tries to hold the ball on LW, sometimes he can do it successfully, but he always has to go inside and the move has to start again. Whereas if he get the ball around the box he has a lot more freedom of what to do.

 

i think hes playing for a move like donati at the start of last season-he was in great form then offski before you knew it.whether its his decision or lennys told him hes offs another matter
