only found some swiss sources yet, but the FIFA might take the world cup 2010 away from South Africa. Reasons: no money, no stadiums, no infrastructure and a great deal of crime.

new hosts could be: germany again and usa

South africa they only so far have 4 liable stadiums

these are click on the links to see them

    Ajax cape town stadium
    http://www.stadiumguide.com/newlands.htm

    National stadium
    http://www.stadiumguide.com/absastadium.htm

    Kaizer chefs stadium biggest 59,500

    Sundows fc
    http://www.stadiumguide.com/loftus.htm

It was a stupid place to pick

1.Its mostly europeian teams that qualify so we are very far away and need jags and that

    2. Most of the people in south africa are poor and can't afford tickets so you can't say its so the africas can see a game only a few thousand more africans will be able to attend.

    3. Very high crime rate lots of gun shootings

So they may aswell host it in iraq as there probably better I have to say
Just as many people die per day and Iraq probably have better stadiums

sanders mate i dont think scotland or ireland could have it Scotland on have Celtic Park , Ibrox , Hampden , Murryfield ! Ireland Has Lansdowne but that will now be unused as there is a new stadium getting build and there Croke Park That it !! so i doubt they would build new stadiums

Looking to what germany had 12 stadiums costing around 40 million each to renivate erm how many stadiums has scotland got the now that are liable and would still probably need upgraded 4 so we would need 8 more stadiums but it could be uk hosts but all of them would probably be in england to big investment just for scotland

To be honest the UK is the best bet, stadiums take care of themselves and fan parks would be easy to make

Murryfled is for rugby, keep it that way. Aparently if SA do not get it then Australia has the best chance of getting it...

I read that some of the stadiums rangers played at had signs saying hand in your weapons before entry and pick them up after the game?

Did Fifa think South Africa would change to a nice wee place in the space of a few years??

Perhaps a joint Scotland-Ireland bid like we had for the Euro Cup 08? Don't know much about Ireland's facilities, but four in Scotland. Hearts claim that they're going to upgrade Tynecastle to a 40,000-seater. Only one more and Scotland would have their share fulfilled. It'll probably just go to Australia, though, and * off 5,980,000,000 people across the world and please the 20,000,000 Aussies. Honestly, what a * choice, no offence to Aussies, as you guys have a great country, but you're so * isolated and the times will be crap for the rest of humanity.
