    Yep 100% true:50:. Sometimes in life people make the wrong decisions, in this case Shay Given(or Seamus as he was called at the time:icon_mrgreen:). Our loss was Blackburn and Newcastle's gain im afraid.

    we had Stan Collymore on trial at one point as well....nut job but banged in the goals at the top level for quite a few years

    we also very nearly had Fernando Torres when he was 16 and if it wasn't for Spanish Law he could have been a Celtic striker

    Was talking to Tommy Gemmal and a sports writter friend today, when i mentioned this to them they were gob smacked and asked how i knew this as they had been talking about it that morning, they didnt think it was too far fetched at all, so we will have to wait and see.
