There is a problem with Efrain's visa. He may miss out on the Champions League.

just watched the france mexico game again. he does a lot of simple things really really well which is needed in our midfield just now. if brown is going to go off all over the pitch, we're gonna need someone to boss the midfield and ki aint gonna do it. juarez is our man. physical as *, well suited for scotland

What problem is there with his visa? They are processing it and processing takes time. :31:

By saying there is a problem with his visa makes people think that there is an issue with it, and NOT an issue with the processing speed! :50:

Efrain Juarez's Twitter page charted the Mexican player cheering on Celtic in their friendly against Sporting Lisbon.
Efrain Juarez, who will become Celtic’s fifth summer signing when he receives a work permit for his move from UNAM Pumas, has been impressing his new fans via his Twitter page. The Mexican was an interested spectator of the Hoops’ game with Sporting Lisbon on Wednesday night and took to the internet to show his support for his team-mates.

With many Celtic supporters having tried and failed to make contact with him on the popular social networking website, Juarez took the step of showing his excitement over his forthcoming move, immediately enamouring himself with the fans.

“Watching my Celtic against Sporting…Hail Hail!” Juarez tweeted as the game got underway, before celebrating when Georgios Samaras gave Celtic the lead in the match at Boston’s Fenway Park. “Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool del Celtic!” posted Juarez, before he fell silent for the evening.

Samaras’ strike again came from the spot, the third consecutive match in which Celtic have been given a penalty. Helder Postiga levelled the scores, sending the match to a penalty shootout immediately after the 90 minutes.

The first 12 penalty takers kept their nerve but, after Liedson put his sudden death spot kick over the bar, Paul McGowan converted to hand his team the Fenway Football Challenge Trophy.

Juarez had expected to fly to Scotland on Thursday, settling into Glasgow over the weekend before beginning training on Monday ahead of Celtic’s Champions League qualifier with Braga. But there are now fears Juarez may not be eligible to take part in his team’s first competitive match of the season.

The Mexican’s work permit for his move to Glasgow is yet to be granted, sparking fears Celtic may not be able to register him on their squad list for their match against Braga next week.

Juarez could yet be added if he misses the Thursday night deadline but the Hoops are limited to naming one additional player, a spot Lennon may prefer to reserve for one of a number of his reported transfer targets.
Juarez's new Twitter followers will be hopeful Celtic's enthusiastic new recruit will keep them up to date with his situation as he readies himself for SPL and European football, while also offering his perspective on life in Scotland.
