This has got to be a joke but i can actually see it happen as he played with Lennon at Leicester City. He was'nt the worst back then but that was a long time ago. Just look at the world cup for example, englands own fans couldnt understand what heskey was doing there!!

Heskey may be one of the worst finishers in footballing history. Terrible player. He's so far past it. Wouldn't be "top class" for anyone.

and wayne biggins played at the highest level all his career?? go ask martin oniell who signed him twice, steve bruce who also signed him twice, eriksonn, mclaren, capello. im sure they all know a bit more about him than u do. your just another another fool who jumps on the he doesnt score enough goals for a striker bandwagon. go watch the celtic liverpool game from parkhead when he was probably the best player on the park that night. so yes go get a grip of yourself

this would be mental if we got him when martin oneil wanted him maybe but he is past it. Would be a bad investment last one season then we would need another striker its better we save the money we would need to pay any transfer and wages and spend it buying a better younger player who will at least be around for a couple of seasons

in an ideal world then yes ofcourse we would love to do this but who fits that bill that we can afford?? celtic isnt the sort of club u get time to settle at either. cant blame lennon for trying to get players of a bit of calibre in rather than taking chances on younger players who maybe will be a good player in a few years. after all if it dont work out this year then lennon wont be here next year

Would walk the spl and would score at least 15 in his 1st season but would only last 1 season imo.

What's Heskey got to do with players of calibre? :56:

I'd rather we signed a skip full of loam.

Thankfully, this story comes from the News Of The World - which is as good a guarantee of made-up * as you'll get in this life.
