    I concur. I would snap your hand off for £10M + Heskey for McGeady.
    Emile Heskey is a phenomenal player, and would be the perfect foil for RaRa.

    £10m plus heskey?? bite martins hand off quick. why all the i dont want heskey nonsence?? has played for leicester, liverpool, birmingham, wigan and now villa. villa is the only club he has struggled to get a game for. must have played about 500 prem games and the last 3 english managers have rated him good enough to start for them. he would be a great signing for us. he would score as many as fortune (that woudnt be hard) but would create a lot more. and £10m alone for mgeady is a great deal in itself !!

    sorry mate,but of course he's a better player, in fact as much as i hate to say it he's our best,overated yes,but still a very good player,hope he goes tho ,so we can improve the team overall

    £10million for Aiden will suffice. Get HEskey to *. AS many have said, rather it was Sidwell or Shorey. Or even £2-4mil & Carew (majorly doubtful but we can dream)
    If this is true, think it is the right move for Aiden. Imo he's too good for any team less. Aye he moght not have been at his best recently but imo he needs a fresh challenge at a club challenging europe in the EPL, and as we all know MON gets the best out of his players.
    So, (if true) cheerio Aiden. Sad to see you go but you need a bigger test to fulfil your potential.

    when i first seen him he was a good prospect thats it, not good enough to be a regular and now he easily is and is apparently valued by our club(the ones who know him best) at 10-12m, and if your scottish then you obviously havent got over the fact he plays for ireland,or something else is blinding you from the truth that mcgeady IS very good

    Can see this happening, I posted a thread 3 weeks ago saying this! Aidan is my uncles nephew and Lennon phoned Aidan when he was on holliday in Ibiza to say that a deal with Villa is almost done! no figures were mentioned at that stage but 10 million... bye bye aidan :bbpd: Oh and they can keep Heskey.....

    I dont know. Heskey has played at the highest level pretty much his whole career, but he is garbage. What do managers see in him. To be honest I would even say to MON look just give us 8 and keep Heskey.

    I dont think we are gonna get Bellamy or Keane so I think to myself who can we bring in. I honestly believe that Hooper is the best we can hope to get

    yeah our club know him best that they cant wait to sell him and if they dont sell him shortly people will suss out how poor he is. mcgeady has to go now because this maybe his only chance to become the player he should be, with his skill and pace he should have barca and real chasing him. as he is just now he cant even get a game for a very average ireland team. hes not a youngster anymore
