    I think he has went to a better league but not a bigger club. Maybe his time was done and he liked to move to Italy as a country and to play with and against some good players. But I think he might miss the uniqueness of Celtic.

    Offft what €3 million for the best keeper we've had in decades? Joke. Two seasons ago we all placed him in the £10million pound bracket as far as keepers go, and you wouldn't have been far off the mark - Yea he's had his off-field demons to contend with which haven't helped with his performances on the park and I know his contract was up in the next 12 months it just stinks big time...

    Once again proven that we can't compete with any team outside the SPL in financial terms, and yes Fiorentina I don't care what you say about them but they can offer him the kind of money he wants to sit on a bench over what we can offer him to be no1 first choice keeper/cult hero. And it's pish that it's came down to monetary terms.

    Now we need to add a keeper to the shopping list that so far cries out for a striker and lo and behold something we've all known for the past 4 * years a * left back.

    €3 million? yer 'avin a giraffe.

    The figures you talk about are only speculation. It does not state any on the Fiorentina official website where the story broke.

    I will wait for it to appear on our website before I believe any fee. I am sad to see him go though:celt_2:
