Ill bite. Why on earth wouldnt you want a 22 year old striker whos scored 20 goals in 30 games in a league better than the SPL for a weak team?

*??? Guy's a great prospect, scored on his debut against one of europes top teams, has an imense goals to game ratio. why would u not want him??

 

Probably just doesn't think he's a good player.

 

I believe Championship teams have poor defenses, and that's why he scored a lot. Though, the Lyon goal does go in his favor. Still, if I could pick who's in our club, it'd be Rosenberg.

 

Fine, I'll bite...the championship isn't any better than the SPL. You're forgetting, theres an awful lot of * in there. People also forget, teams like Dundee utd and Hibs are good teams, but just have blinkers on when it comes to the SPL.

Anyway, as for this guy, if he's free, might be worth a punt, but Hooper does seem good also.

 

the championship is overall much higher quality than the spl, look at clubs like cardiff, burnley, middlesbrough, portsmouth, hull...everyone of these clubs have several players which would be far, far out of the reach of any spl clubs apart from us and also much higher budgets. Not to mention big clubs like norwich, leeds and nottingham forrest who would be challenging for a top 3 place in the spl and have much bigger fan bases than the likes of hibs and dundee united. The strength in depth of the championship is incomparable to the spl.

 

How do you explain Charlie Adams being an absolute star in that league though? Amongst others...

Quite easily, first of all it happens to many players that they don't perform their best at one club then move to another and really hit it off, a good example being diego forlan at manchester united. Also, in my opinion, it was always clear in the spl that charlie adam had a lot of talent, his potential was never really in doubt from my point of view but perhaps he just had problems with his attitude e.g. thinking he was better than he is, not putting in enough effort for the team. At the huns, he was also usually used on the wings whereas he has shown at blackpool he is more suited to an attacking midfield role where pace is not such a necessity. The Ibrox "faithful" were also very quick to get on his back (perhaps due to the afore-mentioned attitude problems) which can't be very easy for a young player to deal with and finally, he looks like he's lost weight since he left rangers and is in much better physical condition. I don't have any doubts if he played for an spl club now, he would be a star. Having said that, he's a horrible hun and I don't like him one bit :icon_mrgreen:

 

he would be fecking awsome in the spl and in europe for us no question , get him signed !
