Samaras is awful, I have no clue what some of you people see in him.

just because he played quite well in the friendly against man u,i dont think we could afford to take the chance to keep him for another season.get what ever we can get for him i say.:bbpd:

Despite your fine taste in music, I must disagree.

I take it you never saw the game tonight?
Or the Man U game, where Samaras was our best player by a distance?

I'm the first to admit we are lacking in the forward department.
But one thing is clear from tonight - Rasmussen is slow as a month in the jail.

    Equation : Sammy > Fortune >>>> Rasmussen = Murphy.

Why would we sell our best (of a bad lot) forward?

We all know what Sammy is capale of. But imo to keep a player that can do it once in ten games is too infuriating. Sell him. Unless he gets his head oot hs * and performs better overall rather than now and again but i personaly dont see that happening

id get rid of any of the strikers before him. id get rid of aiden before id get rid of sammy as he would be far better in left mid than mgeady ever is. big sammy gets picked on all the time by the fans yet mgeady seems to get off scot free despite very poor performances week in week out.

i'd just be worried we cant replace him with a better player with the money Lennon will have available. A run of games and support from the manager and he's proven he'll score goals.

I can't firgue this guy out. He seems to buckle under pressure and critisism at times, but if given a run of games the confidence comes back and at times he can go buy defenders for fun and his hold up play can be class.

Then he seems to get above himself and doesn't try when he loses the ball and floats all over the park!

The last 2 friendlies he has been our best player. I am one of his biggest critics but if he wants to stay I'd keep him as he is the best striker currently at the club.

People need to get off the guys back, for his own sake a little part of me hopes he leaves to a club where he will be appreciated! It's unreal the way some fans treat him, even if it is just on a forum.

I've said it before and I'll say it again Sami is an impact player fling him on off the bench in the 20-25 mins and he'll tear up the park when defenders are tired.....

Keep him one more season if he's * punt him in jan

What! You mean you would keep Samaras ahead of Cillian Sheridan and Ben Hutchison! Surely not!:eek1::icon_mrgreen:

would maybe help if he was played in his correct position and not out wide!! he has pace decent in the air and can finish but to often when played out wide he drifts out the game ,he could maybe play upfront on his own with help from proper wide men ,imo he,s mobile enough to be given the chance

Contradictory! Even if he is played in his "preferred" position of up front through the middle, he still ends up out wide regardless!

If he goes now we'll get some money. If he goes next season he's out of contract and we'll get nothing. So he should be sold now or at least get a new contract
