    Agreed:50:

The questioner is asking for a yes or no answer to a question which needs more than just a yes or no. Of course the football is not value for money.

However, If I want to be entertained, I'll go to see a band, or watch La Liga. If I want value for money, I'll shop in Aldi or Lidl or I could spend £60 on a season ticket for Clydebank and watch them every week[* that!:56:] We spend our money because we are Celtic Fans and admittedly because we can afford it. Ivoted no just to take part in the poll but it's not as simple as that:icon_mrgreen:

Agreed. Some just can't see it though. Board bash with no facts to support their naive financial views.

If you go on here saying anything against the board, they all go ape *, we are not allowed to say other than how good a job they are doing, well run, no debt, getting 'good players' everything is smelling sweet and rosey in the garden, not worth the money but don't go for the money just to support Celtic, but as for this shower of * [board] not a supporter:38:

Loads of folk criticise the board so that's incorrect. Most who do though clearly don't have a clue and the way they refer to the board....shameful stuff.

No it's proved nothing. Again it's board bashing but no facts or true figures to support the criticism. Reality check required.

    Your obsessed with * facts.

So here's one for you, the board that you love and admire and defend.

Appointed the worst manager in EPL (that's a FACT - WBA finished bottom)

He then went on to become the worst manager we have had in the last 15 years FACT

Well Mr "I deal in facts" the votes of this poll show that over 60% agree that supporters are not getting value for money. Surely even someone as clueless as you can understand that.

Just in case you are struggling it's in pretty little colours for you too.

Any way point proven and I no longer have to waste my time replying to your clueless posts

we havent been getting value these past few years which is fact! but another fact hits us in the pocket aswell.you have to remember celtic along with other clubs through out the globe is ran as a buisness. if a fan of 20 years walks away for whatever reason? then of course the board are going to try sell his seat to someone else. the cannot afford in not to tbh. ryan you have made some fine points bit so has roslebhoy and others . its the way it is for our club and others everywhere.

if we can still spend money and compete for the title and get a run in europe? then great.but it all comes down to who we can afford and who wants to come to us? if they want money and use this term"iv always wanted to play in the epl crap? then fine.if they dont want to come to huge club that has everything here for them, great stadium, loyal fans, world class training facility, good wages and be a celtic player ?then what can we do? all we can do is say ok move on who next.but we have found some gems and of course found some pish too. its just the way things are now and unless the sfa change our league set up or uefa/fifa wage cap? then this wil go on.

    Good post mate.

One of my biggest issues with the board is that they refer to us as customers and the football as a product.

They see us as a business 1st and foremost and that's what hurts. Iv grown up with the Celtic traditions, love the whole ethos of the club it's what makes us such a special club but refering to us as customers is an insult.

Celtic is a football club first and foremost and we are Celtic SUPPORTERS

but if you think about that for a second? we are! they sell celtic to us ,we are loyal fans who would do anything for, so buying merchandise tickets etc etc is what a customer is! i dont beleive they only think of us like that? but they have also came out lots of times and thanked us for our great support etc. i wouldnt read too much into the customer quotation mate.dont think it supposed to be a bad way they mean it by.

Aren't you doing the same thing by using the term 'value for money'?
