Hartson's Magic Moments

After reading BBJ's statement after leaving CP, I can only thank him for 5 great years. What do you think have been the top 3 Hartson memories. Here's mine:
1. Screamer at Anfield

2. The goal that won the league last season

3. Fantastic turn and shot at Celta Vigo (First time in europe after xmas for 22 years)

 

As my Desktop Background on works computer, I have great pic of BBJ running towards corner flag of the Broomloan Rd End having scored against the Manky Mob - thousands of Tims giving it some and John loving every second of it.

Canna remember the game tho, but that be one of my best moments of John.

Second that one tho greendave, wish the big man well with the Baggies

That would be his 50th goal for Celtic. At Mordor for a 1-0 win. Class

especially after missing the pen the week before shows the character of bbj

 

I'll join in and thank BBJ for some magic moments over 5 years. It was just great to have him and watch him score so many goals for us especially after the huns * their pants on signing him and he came back to haunt them so many times. Anfield strike was awesome!!!
PS: Isnt it good to have someone leave on good terms and say good things about the club.

 

Hail! Hail! to Big John. My favourite moment was him coming off the pitch at Ibrox this season after being replaced late in the game and give the fist salute to the Hoops faithful.

I was sitting at my computer screaming like a madman as I often did early on Sunday mornings.

 

Has to be before the old firm match last season and he turned round to the players and jus shouted everywhere "C'mon to f**k lads C'MON"

 

it was class wen he was coming off at Ibrox and saluted the fans. There was still time to go but he knew it was won and let everyone know. His goal at Anfield was class. Especially that crazy fan u hear on the original commentry: "What a goal! What a f**king goal!". I think of John and i hear that.

 

Hartson's goal at Anfield was the best in the MON era.

my magic moments of hartson was every decision that went against him in european games dont get me wrong in the spl he was great where the refs know him but when in europe there was a frustration of him always getting fouls when we were close to a goal refs saw him as a bully and it always killed off our attacks.

 

The big man's goal at Anfield and the celebration in the pub that followed it willlive with me forever - easily one of my greatest moments as a celtic fan.

Spot on with the anfield goal thats defo his best 4 celtic!! He also scored a big goal in CL 2 years ago v barcelona in the nou camp altho it ws a tap in it gt us a draw!!

 

THis really brings me down...BBJ going away...I'll always remember him, cos he was always so positive and fun and never dirty. He always had great finishing and I think we'll miss that aswell. Me first BBJ memory is the goal that won us the league, it was just the perfect setting and the goal was so spectacular. The second is surely that screamer against Liverpool, and the joy on his face when he was running towards the fans. And the third is strangely the goal he scored against the huns at ibrox in the 2004/2005 season, when we lost 2-1 after extra time. I've rarely seen him so happy, the way he was running left then right and shouting, it was great

Think it was his goal against Dundee(could be wrong) where it was a half overhead kick from the big guy. Thought this was a great goal for him as he showed a good bit of athletecism, and for someone of his stature it was highly unexpected.

 

Yip, it was against Dundee.

The Liverpool wins it hands down for me.
