I've actually been wondering about this all season, why do we HAVE to play with two wingers, forcing the CM to sit back, why can't we have someone more solid like Brown out wide for example, and play a more creative player to feed the strikers through the middle.

going off topic I know, but really, when was it decided that that's how we have to do things?

It gets mentioned a lot but I don't know if stats back that up and Im beginning to think Crosas just doesn't fit into our play and is taking a squad place that could be better used by someone else.. Although he was used sparingly during the 9 games that Lenny was in charge , he was on the pitch when both Ross County goals were scored and I remember his half hearted effort to tackle that Galbriath kid who scored the winner for Hibs against us (at the end of the Mowbray era).. Maybe not enough proof to single him out but the Crosas experiment doesn't seem to be something worth persevering with (to me) because this season will be a season for fighting for every ball to get the title back.. Maybe N'Guemo could be kept but he wouldn't be guaranteed a first team place (not even sure if Lenny rates him) and I think another midfielder of decent standing is required...

N'Guemo's game is to play as a spoiler, in many respects the same way lenny played, but his inability to pass the ball 10 yards would be a worry, especially in europe !

I voted NO! I would not sign Landry N'Guemo for whatever price that is asked by Nancy F.C. To me ,he has had far more bad games than good ones and I agree about what others have said about his passing abilities.I am not a big fan of Scott Brown but get a creative midfield partner beside him and I think we will see the best of Scott Brown and the Celtic team.Hail! Hail!

to be honest he is youngish,,but what would the young lads choking for a game think singing a guy for 1.5 m just to teach him how to pass and break up play,,,no chance in teaching him how to shoot he dosnt have it in his locker,,so id say no give carey ??a chance,,,,,or spend max 750k and half the wage on jimmy gomez who wont need tought.or get we mcarther before he heads down south.

Spot on, forgot to mention his terrible shooting, every time he lines a shot up the linesman dive for cover........:icon_mrgreen:

We've seen a full season from him and i don't think he's good enough to play for Celtic. I'm pretty sure they could sign a better player for the same price, a player who can actually pass the ball to a team mate.

I voted yes but I actually think we'd be better saving our money and trying to get a CM who will score goals.

well ive said to not buy but its a bit of a dilemma since we shouldn't get him if someone else comes in like a Ledley or Bullard but if we don't manage to get someone like that then i think we will miss him, his breaking up of play is really second to none, he just needs to improve his passing and ball retention and imo you have a vierra type player just not quite the same level and obviously lacking a foot in height ^^

yes sign the lad at 1.5 when you look at the clown at 5million next to him that cant get into the oppositions teams 25 yard box, and we are paying him double for a guy that has never improved one bit since he joined us and any one to say different, is better not to mention his ability as he has none

I'm sorry but i just don't rate him gives the ball away far too easily the lads a grafter and i cant find fault in his passion and work ethic but he lacks some basic skills and although nobody got pass marks in the Scottish cup semi he was truly diabolical worst player on the park by a country mile and that game sealed his fate imho so sorry Landry but not for me!!!

take your point, but having a better player than brown beside him one who can come and help the lad out, and get forward, as the lad has robed many an attacker for us, so i thing he would be a asset behind the attacking midfielder i also think the lad would listen to reason, not so brown

No as his best attribute is supposed to be his passing and his passing is *, although scott brown runs about like a blue arsed fly at least he has pace and drive, n'guemo is indecisive and it showed in the 3rd old firm of the season as he took ages to make a decision and ruined our best opportunities , the 1.5 million can be spent better elsewhere
