Yeah ok i accept he has improved and maybe am living in the past, but i still don't think hes a player to get excited about. a good squad player IMO. hes started 14 times for stoke and came on sub 11 times and produced 1 goal! hardly a player to get excited about. However i hope i am proved wrong and maybe its just me been all doom and gloom! haha!

you have to remember he was playing with stoke but.his scoring record would be better up here imo.would be more emphasis on attacking than defending

He's a decent free kick taker as well.

yeah i agree he would be better up here, but i just cannit get passed the idea that we are getting a little too excited over a squad player from stoke. we are needing goals from midfield so for this to work he would have no option but to attack more.haha. its all good saying he will do better up here, but then we hi europe and get found out. Btw just heard steven fletcher is getting sold from Burnley for 7 million, whos daft enough to pay that......wolves!haha

Celtic have made a bid of £1.5m for Stoke City midfielder Liam Lawrence.
The English Premier League club are willing to do business but are looking for around £2m for the 28-year-old Republic of Ireland winger.
But he could become Neil Lennon's first signing as Celtic manager, the Northern Irishman expected to be confirmed in the position within 48 hours.
Lawrence, who joined Stoke in 2006, found himself in and out of the side in the season just passed.

Thommo was "just a squad player" at Villa before he signed. This lad is very similar imo. Get him signed

Forget about N' Guemo and please sign Liam up for 2 million, I have a feeling he will do great things in the Hoops.

Reasonable player, 2m is about right, though I think if we dig our heels, with him wanting to come we can get him for 1.5.

I'd take mcgeady over him every day of the week though
