Celtic are set to sign highly rated 19 year old Dutch centre back Evander Sno from Feyernoord for £250,000. (Various Sources)

Yet another "big name" signing from GS and co!!!.....C'mon man, we're supposed to be one of the biggest clubs in europe, why the * is it so difficult for us to get a decent player (that isnt at the "twilight" of their career)!

He was Named after Ex-Heavywieght Boxing Champion Evander-Holyfield.
I think he could be great at CP,Maybe the next Petrov but better with his pace and remember hes only 19-years-old and for only £250,000 thats a good price for a player nowadays-GS has brought in-Riordan,Caldwell,Miller,Snol,and hopefully Kadlec and maybe few more

All it said in today's papers m8 is that Celtic could buy Nakata from Roma for £1.5million and personally I Don't think Nakata is a good player as he doesn't track back

aye we need stronger, more competitive players. I don't see how we could accomodate nakata in a team with maloney and naka.

Gordon Strachan, whilst at Coventry, signed an unheard of George Boateng from Feyenoord for 300k. He hasn't done too badly now, has he?

After all the bullshit transfer speculation that's posted here, we've signed a player who nobody has ever mentioned. I've never heard of the guy but let's see what he can do before judging him based on the fee involved. As already pointed out the last cut price deal from Feyenoord worked out ok.

By the way Johnny_cfc......love the sig

How many talent players without big names did Wenger sign in his career, and how many of them now, the world know of? You sign a player for his talent not his precieved reputation
