I used to feel this way, well maybe not quite the messi comment, but for the last couple of seasons I've changed from thinking whenever he gets the ball he'll do something magical, to having my fingers crossed he doesn't lose it foolishly or run himself into a corner trying to do something magical instead of getting his head up and making the simple pass.

 

mcgeadys off his tear in the eye at his last old firm game and his wave today ! would like to see him stay hes our best player even if his final ball is * all these fans that want him to leave well you dont know what youve got till its gone

 

Aye I can't wait to see these fans sit and moan about the lack of ability in the team, all the while they were looking for our only player with any ability to be sold.

exactly, aidan may have had an average season but what about the rest of the guys who had even worse seasons.

McGeady just reminded me of Mr Woo this season loads of tricks but didn't really make anything of them should be getting better but this season its been like he has got worse.

 

Agreed man, I know Aiden has had a mixed season, but he is far from a "One Trick Pony" as many describe him.
Frustrating as it may be, that his crossing badly lets him down alot of the time, well he is still by far our best player.

Hopefully he stays and a new manager (Lenny or Whoever) can help Aiden improve on his crossing and maybe even being more direct when he has the ball at his feet. At some stage Aiden will move on to a new club/league, so a Ronaldoesq season for him in the SPL scoring 30 plus goals, is what Celtic & Aiden both now need.

 

Hes our best player by a long shot ffs, wise up.

Hes 1 of few good players we have at the club, if the board sell them they better come up with the cash to replace him

 

Although he can be frustrating i want him to stay, he is talent i just wish he'd work on developing a shot and cross

 

Isnt even a discussion in my eyes. Robbie Keane aside, McGeady is without doubt our best player. To even talk about selling him on is crazy. How we can expect to progress when "fans" are talkin about selling our best players. How many times this season have we been crap and all of a sudden a wee spark of brilliance from Aiden and it lifts the whole team.

I didnt see the wave but I defo don't think he will be going anywhere in the summer, unless someone is willing to fork out close to 10 mill!!

 

He has to be 1 of the most frustrating players we have , On his day he is brilliant but unfortunately he has not perfomed enough like the vast majority of our players this season .
