"Football is a simple game; 22 men chase a ball for 90 minutes and at the end, the Germans always win." (G. Lineker)

I'll tell again. I'm proud I'm Pole... and I'll tell again * you to all who says Poland is a *.

I'm * off because almost everybody was sayin before the WC "I'm cheering on Poland. C'mon Poland!" etc... and now they're sayn: "Poland is *. * them"...

Are you those famous best supporters in the world? You can't even cheer on the team that loses...

Watch our matches again...both ecudaor and germany and learn from polish supporters how to support the team!

And don't get angry... these words above are only for some people here...

Thanks Marty for being with us even though we've lost again. You're the one of the minority of the right guys on this forum...

    HAIL! HAIL!

You may be sure I'll be cheering on Switzerland to their last game in the WC... hope it will be the Final :50:

poland really showed character. a good 0-0 against a german homeside (they will go far in the tourny) is a quite good result. but then a lucky last minute goal. its about the way you lose and poland made themself proud. 100% effort, they played out their hearts. sadly its time to say good bye, but with a performance like that you cant be disappointed :50:

Poland lost this game as I predicted but they fought bravely. Well, respect to the Poles - you did what you could and that really counts.

    Boruc was excellent! :50:

Lately i watched a documentary about the polish revolt in Warshaw during WW2 and felt such a great sympathy for the polish people ... I wished they could have won over the germans last night but unfortunately it didn't happen .

Any way , polish must be proud of Boruc , he is world class !

Thanks mates! You know it's hard for us to end the WC like that... Unfortunately our team played poor football against Ecudor and this is the reason of our defeat in WC. Maybe Germany deserved to win yesterday match but our team made everything to stop them and looking how germans were happy after scoring the goal I'm sure it was a hard task for them to win against us. We should have played against ecuador just like against germany yesterday...

well... maybe next time we'll do better...

    POLSKA BIALO-CZERWONI! :50:

Thats true, more than 6 850 000 Poles died at IIWW. So we dont like Germany. But now, our nations are friends. But on the game you think about history and all, so you know. Its like a war. Its special , unique game, like Scots and Irleand play with England. So i;m proud , it was great game, great support, on Shalke stadium were more than 40 000 Polish fans. Boruc looks great, i think in important game he is a clas. Cheers

there was one game against us and germany which was * more important than yesterdays... it was on Grunwald stadium 15th July 1410.

It was the decisive battle of the Polish-Lithuanian-Teutonic War (1409-1411) and the greatest battle of medieval Europe.

The Monastic State of the Teutonic Knights was defeated in the battle and never recovered its former influence.

our captain was Wladyslaw Jagiello... :yeah:

    haha

Yes ! great game it was at grunwald :50:

I hope you remember also the son of Poland's captain from Grunwald - Wladyslaw III Jagiello ( Warneńczyk ) . The same who is honoured as heroe in bulgaria and who died on the ground of Varna on 10.11.1444 trying to help his slavonic brothers from Bulgaria in the unequal match vs. Turkey :50:

Of course I remember mate. We call him Wladyslaw Warnenczyk in Poland :).

Ah...Slavonic nations...we have hard history... we've always been attacked by the * from the west but we've always managed to keep together in the critical moments and fight them brave! Freedom! haha

    Cheers for Bulgaria :50:

I do believe... that's why I'm talking about Grunwald... it was the miracle to win against Germans there :86:

I was gutted for Poland last night and I hated those comments from GS about Boruc over reacting after the game. Idiot.
