I think he'll be punted and pretty soon.

I never saw anything special in the games he played and this close season he looks heavy and disheartened.

He's Mowbray's man not Lenny's and he's way down the pecking order. If we can get £1m plus for him in Jan I'll be delighted.

 

A goal against hamilton and hibs apart fae that, he's not really convinced me and i'd rather have a penalty box striker wae pace like Hooper than a big slow guy like Rasmussen although i reckon he could maybe do a job if he gets a decent run in the side, whether he will or not remains to be seen

 

The miss against St Pauli was terrible, he was one on one and should have easily scored yet he managed to put it over the bar, then he scores a decent goal later on in the game, i'm undecided with this guy, i think he has to be given a chance but so far i've not really been impressed.

Also, when you look at the pre season training photos, look at him compared to everyone else he's clearly not as fit and struggling to keep up by the looks of things but i is pre season so maybe he's just not been looking after himself while he's been off.

 

We should have at least 4 first team strikers - Fortune, Rassmusen, Murphy and Hooper with the likes of McGowan comin in at times.

I think he is getting used at the * send because he doesnt play. It was like the o'dea thing when he was away.

 

Keep him, * samaras off.

 

P McGowan is off on loan for a season to the buddies.

 

He seems to be a great old fashioned number 9 but with such competition for places dont know what sort of role he will have.

 

To be honest as time goes on it is looking more and more likely that Lennon just doesn't rate him. The whispers about him being used in swap deals and being allowed to move on are becoming louder and there is no smoke without a fire. I had high hopes for him but he has been awful in pre-season, extremely statuesque with a heavy touch. I still feel he would get goals for us if given a good run of games but if Lenny doesn't rate him then that's good enough for me. I actually have a similar feeling about Hooiveld, Mowbray has signed alot of players who look like decent players with potential but maybe they're just not quite able to take it up a level to be consistent performers for such a big club the way Lenny expects them to be, we will see!

 

Really it must be the training pitch that he hasnt impressed on the gaffer because he hasnt had a fair run of games to make an impressing on the fans and the gaffer .

Dont know if something has happened in the background but whyhe isnt getting his chance to play is beyond me ,,am i right in saying that it was Mjallby that recomended him to Celtic .

He recommended either Rogne or Hooiveld i think, not sure about Ras

I think fans overrated him early doors. He's slow, cumbersome but can score goals. Just need to see if Lenny rates him
