Naylor is a very frustrating player, but when he is on his game, he can be an effective player for us. Unfortunately, he is very rarely at his best.

If he goes I will then I hope him all the luck in the world. Also, what a way to bow out.

I would genuinely be sad to see Lee Naylor depart from Celtic. Ok so he's not Roberto Carlos but that man gives 100% every time he steps on that park and there's a lot of Celtic players who don't do that. I still want Lee Wallace to be our LB next season but Naylor would be a fantastic guy to have as a squad player/backup. IMO Naylor has took more abuse off the Celtic faithful than he ever deserved. Lee Naylor never pretended to be anything he wasn't and to be honest he's been a good buy for £700,000(roughly). If Naylor leaves us this summer I won't ever look back on him as a dud.

I would give him a final 1 year contract extension but should only be used as backup. He has been playing very well recently but still think he isn't the answer to our LB problems. Hopefully sign Wallace from Hearts, that way if Wallace was suspended, injured etc we have a capable replacment in Naylor.

If he does leave good luck to him. Like him or hate him he always gave 100% and never hid.

Lets not forget Naylor has been rank rotten for some time now. Don't be fooled by recent "form". Time to freshen things up

Yeah he just isn't a good player. I think he does give 100% but can't help drop his work-rate/performances the more and more the crowd get on his back and he seems to want to hide then.

Might be worth-while on a cheap short-term deal but I think it would be best for all parties if he returned to a mid-table Championship side.

Surprised to hear you say that.

I think the complete opposite. One of the things I like and admire about Lee Naylor is that even in the face of abuse from our fans he never has hid. I think he always shows for the ball, always gets involved and always gives 100%.

Yes he is not supremely talented either attacking wise or defensively but he's not as bad as a lot of people make out either.

If he goes we need to sign 2 left backs, it's hard enough finding 1 never mind 2.

Despite all the abuse he receives he gives 100% which says a lot for his character, however, his ability is limited and is very much confidence driven so the fact that the fans would be on his back straight away again would count against him.

I'd keep him for another year as he is decent back-up, given confidence he can do well for us, but I'd still prefer a better first choice left back.

People should look at the form he is in just now and maybe it is Lennon that has given him a bit of confidence back ,on this form of late he has done well and especially the first half of last nights game he played like his old self ,but like i say on current form i would like to see him stay.

totally agree mate he s tried his hardest every game he has played, not been at his best but still gave his all, even with all the abuse he gets and his family moving back down south a couple of years ago he still wants to play for us and gives his all every game.

Lee Naylor wants to do a U-turn on his decision to leave Celtic for English football and the left-back hopes caretaker Neil Lennon will offer him a new contract if he is given the manager's job permanently.

As godawful as he has been at times I don't dislike the guy perfectly good backup left back and clearly popular within the squad

If Levein gets the job he will likely sign Dixon and bring up Misun as backup.

I want him to stay. He can play well, if the manager's influence is positive.
