where is shaun maloney hiding, i heard a few weeks back that he was going back to training and all that, same goes for hooiveld. There are too many passengers and hiders in this squad. While i do appreciate these may be genuine injurys it just seems an awful long time .

The guys made of glass. Would be surprised if he ever made another full season without a long term injury.

The rate some of our guys get injured makes you wonder if there's something wrong with the way we train, I think it's a little bit beyond some players just being injury prone now.

I noticed after his 1st season when injuries were rare, WGS had incredible injury issues for the next 3 years. I wondered if that was down to his ultra-hard fitness-freak approach. However, the same problem continued under Mogga who is allegedly was less focussed on fitness. It does make you wonder about Lennoxtown.

It hasn't, he'd recovered from the hamstring injury when he got a virus that kept him out for a couple of weeks then after that he has a muscle spasm problem.

As for Maloney, it seems as though there's only been one season in his entire career where he's been fit for most of the season, some players are just injury prone and he's definitely one of them.

Get Maloney to *. Should never have been allowed back in the first place. Spent most of his career on the treatment table or on the Villa bench. Complete waste of a salary

I hope in future players that are signed their contracts are loaded so the more they play the more they earn then that way there is an incentive to keep yourself fit and playing regularly in the first team instead of being a passenger .

Both of them would be fantastic additions, but if we could get maloney fit then I would want to keep himhe can still do us a job, whats he on £12k a week?
