The thing that annoys me most is, literally the misuse of the word literally.

I know it gets used in place of figuratively. Which is near enough the opposite of literally. :31:

    Literally http://listverse.com/2011/06/07/top-10-misused-english-words/

This is such a widely known misused word that examples are less common, as most people know to avoid the term – which should be used to describe something that is actually happening (for example, “He literally danced with joy.”) but should not be used for emphasis (“Steam was literally coming out of his ears.”) This example quotes a, now deceased, reverend gentleman who seemed to rejoice in, frankly, daft opinions, including one about a “literal homosexual steamroller:smiley-laughing002:

Celtic fans who still buy The Daily Record boil my blood.

Check their story today about the 'sectarian' attack on a train. While no doubt hitting someone who asks you to be quiet is stupid and to be condemned,we know exactly what the songs they describe as 'sectarian' would've been.

Been buying Daily Ranger for years, wife loves problem\womens page, personally with my use of internet news-streams I could bin it anytime, but would have to replace it with some other Sevco\Zombieco sympathetic rag to please ma wee darlin, anyway Hotline gives me a laugh, love to read miserable zombie attempts to justify cheating their way to titles\trophies and explain why they're no really deid!!!!:47::56::56::56:

The fact that nearly every customer service i use has been outsourced to India [IMG]

What we have here is “a failure to communicate.” Basically, I can’t understand what they’re saying, while they are equally baffled by my English language skills. Especially when i go into 'full-on Glasgow rant mode' after being overcharged on my mobile phone bill :smiley-laughing002:

    I'm not picky.
Follow that up with * on eBay who win one of your listings but then don't bother to pay for the * thing! Even worse when you see their rating going up due to positive feedback as they have bought OTHER * after they won your item and have "paid on time" :ranting2:

Well they should read the first sentence.

I just recently sold an iPhone on ebay and the * hadn't paid, I read that you have to wait for 2 days before opening up a claim. So I messaged him asking when he was going to pay and he replied sorry I lost my job can't pay for it.

Aye thanks for messaging me to let me know *.

Anyway put it back on for a one day auction and put a buy it now price this time and it sold for 50 quid more lol so not all bad

For most of my life Ive had to take the bus almost everywhere. Now I have the luxury of having my own vehicle.

But I'll tell you what annoyed me. When these handicapped people would get on the bus here with their powerchairs. I mean it would take them 15 minutes sometimes just to get on the bus and get settled.

Now I think its their right to be able to use the buses. They pay taxes, same as me. It was just kind of a guilty, annoyed feeling.
