I think a bit of weight might help with his game in Scotland. Would love to see him against the Huns.

Err, Kris Boyd is a fat * but he scores goals and it's clearly not stopping Rassa, I don't think we should be worried about that ;) Also I don't think he's overweight in any way, he's skinny if anything.

Big John Hartson was a bit on the stout side and look what he done for us.

He can hit the side of a barn, which is more than can be said of Sammy and Fortune.

    Yep.

I've actually being saying this for weeks and I was saying it again today. I was saying it quietly at KO and when we went 1-2 down I was saying it very loudly! Big Rassa totally changed the game for us yesterday. When he came on we suddenly had a physical presence up front and every time we got the ball in the box we actually had a man in there sniffing about and challenging for it.

As far as I'm concerned Rasmussen should start EVERY game for the rest of this season. He gives us a dimension that Samaras, Fortune' and even Robbie Keane don't give us. I think Keano and Rassa could be a cracking partnership. Keano can drop into the hole, drift wide and do all the creative set up work while Rassa can just hang around the box and wait for the supply to come.

Samaras is too fairyish and Fortune' has no killer instinct in front of the goals. I really want to see more of Rasmussen. I suspect he's not a great footballer but he knows where the goals are and we really need a player who knows where the goals are just now.

YouTube - Celtic vs Hibernian (Rasmussen goal)

Having followed the big man for his entire career, i gotta say that he is looking fitter than ever. He has been a lot fatter and still banged in goal after goal. You will never get a polished technical player out of him, but give him a run and he will get the goals. As a regular starter next season you can expect 20+ for sure.

Ras is the the poacher that we need!!! Lenny get him on until the season end and let him bag a couple of goals to boost his confidence!!
I like his celebrations too- looks like he loves the game!!

He definately deserves a run in the side between now and the end of the season. Although he will be playing alkongside a guy that will be gone next year it is an ideal opportunity to give him valuable matchtime, and so, as soon as the new season starts he has the confidence to hit the ground running.

Finally think we found the missing link upfront! We got Fortune, who likes to hold the ball up and drift out wide, Keane the all round striker and now a real fox in the box. Hes a big lad and will no doubt score tons of goals for us. At least Mowbray did something right! Still think we need another striker if/when Keane goes back to Spurs and we should be ok in the striker department. Just need a experienced CB, decent left back and a CM.

Rasmussen will bang goals in all day long. He's the poacher we've been crying out for all season and now he's here he isn't starting.

Rasmussen must be wondering what he must do to gain a starting place, he's banged them in when he's had the chance for us - as well as in the reserves.

The way he plays it reminds me of Milito and Higuian. Just the way they run and always get into that position and are just typical poachers. Needs a run in the team without doubt.

RASMUSSEN GOOD TO START EVERY GAME YET ?

Ever since he played his first game off the bench and scored v hamilton i thought he should be starting , so after the hibs game and sammy looking to be on his way if lenny gets job , does he not now merit a starting role in the last games of the season and especialy against the filth , fortune has some nice touches but he lacks way too much confidence so why not !
