Is Mcgowan our next best striker / reserves

he can score goals, hes a team player, he rolls his sleeves up and fearless in a tackle, all the attributes we are missing, just not got the big price tag hanging over his head or level of experiance.......but surely thats wot the youth programme is for, to bring them on, id give him a go,its money that can be spent elsewhere imo

 

sorry but who are you talking about? McGowan has none of the listed attributes and Rassmussen isnt a product of the youth system?

 

think my point has already been made but got found out at accies last season. Pish!

 

Macgowan seems to have a fair amount of potential but our absurd transfer policy of late has worked against him. I think a few players have suffered as a consequence of Mowbray. Actually all players have but some more than others.

 

I would personally be dismayed if i was to believe that gowser is a genuine first team player he just isnt in the quality bracket required!
thats not to say hes any worse than what is already here, but thats not saying a lot.

only keane is of sufficiant quality up top at the moment the rest are lazy workshy bastids!!! gowser is a decent squad player but strictly the last last last resort i know he had a decent game against st johnstone but the following game against st mirren he was truly awful couldnt get involved in anything and didnt know what to do to change that
out of his depth at this level and i dont believe he'll ever improve beyomd his current level of ability
