Cup Semi Final this Weekend!! :icon_mrgreen:

Tis not going to be easy against County, they will be buzzing after putting Hibs out, but aslong as we don't make any silly mistakes I think we should be ok, hopefully get a few goals aswel, & get threw to the final in style..

    24.Zaluska

    2.Hinkel 48.O'Dea 16.Hooiveld 3.Naylor

    9.Samaras 8.S.Brown(c) 6.N'Guemo 46.McGeady

    10.Fortune 19.Rasmussen

    Subs: 47.Cervi(GK), 7.Keane, 15.Kamara,
    17.Crosas & 38.Thompson.

Would go with a strong a line up as we can. With Robbie Keane having problems with his knee, would maybe start him on the bench for this one along with the returning Diomansy Kamara & get Hooiveld back in the team! Wouldn't change the team that much though..

    Mon the Hoops!!! :icon_mrgreen:

Going to be a good game. Although Ross County's league form of late hasn't been great they will be right up for it.

I'd have a similar team as above except have Thompson starting and maybe Crosas. Think Hampden would really suit the likes of Crosas' passing ability.

Bit harsh on Rasmussen but I'd rather we just kept a consistent side that's been winning, and get the job done. We're not in the final until we're in it.

I don't expect Loovens, Rogne or Hooiveld to be fit but if I'm wrong whoever is most fit can be on the bench in place of Wilson.

Only 5 subs in the Scottish Cup, remember, folks.

Looking forward to this game despite the early start for me, bringing a friend over to their first ever football game so hopefully will be a good day out.

It would be foolish to under-estimate Ross County but still going for a Celtic win and another clean sheet (although will take the win regardless considering how poor the seasons been)

Agree with PRD, don't change a winning team so same team for me :50:

Can't wait for this game, County are my local team and my dad is a die hard County fan. Been looking forward to a meaningful game against them for a long time.

My old man is very confident that they are getting us a the right time, hope he is wrong and I have the bragging rights over him at the end of the day!!

I agree with keeping the same team as last two games and going for a 3-1 victory for the Celts!!

the bhoys can take it, but lennon needs to state to them the importance of not being lazy in the midfield, they need to tighten it up a bit in there

My view of the game will be from the other end of the pitch from most of you as I'll be sat in the County end for this one.

There is no doubt about it, but this is the biggest game in County's history. County had never been to the Quarter Finals beofre this season, never mind the Semi-finals.

There will be a few former Celtic players on view in the County team. Keper Michael McGovern has been superb this season, but then I suppose for the last few seasons he has been the understudy to both Boruc and Zaluska at Dundee Utd last season has something to do with that.

Midfielder Paul Lawson was another former Celtic youth - I think I'm right in saying he was the reserve team captain at Celtic a few years back, but I think his only first team apperances was in pre-season a few years back.
Lawson though has been injured since the HIbs replay, but I hear he should be fit to play on Saturday. It's no great surprise County's league form has dipped a bit since he has been out injured, the team is certainly better when he plays. He is very capable of scoring from anywhere insode 30 yards.

Michael Gardyne, is another former Celtic player, not sure if you call him a striker or attacking midfielder, he tends to sit in between the midfield and forwards, and runs from deep. chipped in with a few goals this season.

All of these players will obviously be delighted to play against their frmer club.

I'll leave the Celtic line up to you all, but from a County perspective, I think we'll go with the following

    Michael Mcgovern
Gary Miller, Scott Boyd, Alex Keddie, Scott Morrison
Iain Vigurs, Richard Brittain, Paul Lawson, Marton Scott
    Michael Gardyne, Andy Barrowman

There is a few inury concerns for County with centra defender Steven Watt, Midfielder Stuart Kettlewell and forward Garry Wood all doubtful
