if i thought it would deeply embarrass the funny hand shake brigade that are also called the sfa i would be right behind a boycott of the scottish cup final. It is they're highlight of the season and would be more direct against they fannys.

Aye boycott an leave the team celebrating the win to an empty stadium ffs, can you not see that the only people we are embarassing is ourselves with talk like that.

I'm gone to the final and I would like to think any sane minded celtic fan would like to be there to see us lift the cup.

Couldnt agree more, whilst it might seem a good idea on paper, its not going to stop a full turnout at the final no matter what people may think.

I know that the JK testimonial (still think it is a bit weird that we are having a testimonial for a bloke that, sadly had his career curtailed by injury, but even still only made a handful of appearances for us) at the end of the season against Scotland. I'm not saying that we boycott this, as it will be one of our own that will suffer, but is it possible that we find an alternative opponant, apart from the Scotland national team?

The Scotland side is governed by ther SFA, but perhaps this could serve as a gesture that we are not willing to kowtow to the likes of Smith & his Hampden cronies. I forsee this as being particularly murky waters, and then there is the feelings of JK himself, to consider, but if we could find a suitable replacement opponant would this be a viable option?

Basically Celtic are demanding that the rules have to be looked at and for the SFA to do something about if they agreed means that they have been wrong all along in this ,i seriously doubt that they will back down on this .

I've been boycottin the away games all season, on account of not being able to get a * ticket.

The Celts will never abandon their team to the mercy of home fans at away games, it just won't happen but I do think something needs to be done.

Notice how when we complain about the refs we're paranoid but when we complain about the disciplinary procedures the howling Meeja have * all to say?

I've boycotted the tabloids ever since the debacle over refs but maybe the best way to get the message across is to boycott away games.

    Mon the Bhoys!

Which is all the more reason that we need to stand firm and stay united. There is a growing chorus calling for reforms, including the SPFA & indeed the SPL joining in. The SFA are banking on us blinking first, breaking ranks and backing down. If we remain intact more and more voices will add to the demand for reform. No number of column inches denouncing this action by the laptop loyal will be able to stem the tide.

Just on stv news smith has done a u turn.

Looks like you poor bhoys won't get the chance to do your wee boycott.

Oh diddums. you'll just have to find another reason to abandon the team.

Well, clearly it gets results, doesn't it? Smith has pulled a complete U-turn and exposed his incompetency and willingness to shamelessly lie to undermine Celtic. And, we're getting the changes we have rightfully demanded.

We should take this and run with it. There are still plenty of issues in the game that must be changed, and the club and we the fans should continue to exert pressure on the SFA. Issues like the competancy and selection of referees, the appointment of SFA officials (e.g. Smith), and numerous other problems of no less importance.

There's a wind of change shaking the barley, Bhoys; keep it blowing, Celtic.

why not all take whistles to the next home match and all blow at the same time and get the game delayed midway through
