Keep him as captain the now then review it in pre-season. If we end up signing someone who is just a natural leader then it would be obvious to change the captaincy. But if Brown does well until the end of the season then he deserves to keep his captaincy

Broony is an OK choice out of a very threadbare list of possibles. He has played well in the last couple. Looks fully match fit since his ban.

To whoever is saying make Keane captain is just an embarrasment. He is a loan signing and is away at the end of the season which meens we would be left with the exact same situation again come summer...Brown is about the only person in the squad ho deserves the armband. He might not be as consistent as he should be but he shows more fight and passion than any other player in the squad.

I think Scott Brown is deserving of the captaincy, he is a worker and understands the importance of being a Celtic captain.
As for the other candidates being mentioned, imo, Boruc would be awful, he is a hot head and Hinkel looks very quiet and not very inspirational to me.
I agree that Keane is probably the best candidate for the job, but as other posters have said, to make a loan signing a captain would be as bad as TM coming in and saying none of the team are good enough.

    100% NO.

Brown is a headless chicken and doesn't show any signs of leadership on the park.

    Nothing againt Brown hear.

I think Broony is a good choice, and really the only choice. Broony divides opinion like Neil Lennon did. loads of fans never appreciated Lennon until his last couple of seasons. I usually find its people who have never really played football themself that dont appreciate what players like these guys do. Their work off the ball to brake down oppositions attack is tremendous. For me brown is one of our most important players, a born leader who has the potential to be a great captain for a long time. yes he was one of our best players on sunday and you don't need to shout to be a captain. you need to lead by example he gives 100% and i think he will mature. He already has with the armband and we have won most games so how is ther a problem for those who think he shouldn't
