He did nothing against Hibs. Do we want to "Break the Bank" - which actually means leaving ourselves with no money to buy anyone else - for someone who can underperform against Hibs?

What do we do if he gets injured? Break another Bank?????

If he was banging in a brace per game irrespective of who was playing around him I could see some merit in the argument... but he's not and we don't have the calibre of player in support to help him to do so. When Henrik was playing he had Sutton and Lubo and Lambert and the rest alongside him... Kean has Samaras ffs!

He has score 12 goals in 12 games and if we didn't have him we'd be *.:97: and we don't really need that great a back up in the SPL.

If the player will stay (doubtful) then we should do all we can to make that happen. only if it dosen't put the financial security of the club at risk.

How much is breaking the bank? if it wasn't harming us to much then i'd be interested, however i don't really think he wants to stay, but if we all chipped in a pound a week we could keep him.

Had Keane not come, I doubt Skippy would have been sold. We survived for over 120 years without Keane, and we will go on after he has ticked 'playing for Celtic' off of his checklist. Life goes on.

Celtic is bigger than any one player.

I know celtic is bigger than any one player . The question was were would we be at this current time if we didnt have robbie playing and remember skippy is only coming back now from injury.

He has took alot of additional embarrasement away from our club.

    Just watched Barca hump Arsenal.

    Breaking the Bank???

Why do it by half measures? - let Kean go, sell Samaras and then buy Messi

    job done!

celtic were generally scoring goals before keane arrived anyway. we need to sort out the defence and need some quality in the midfield aswell. and if that means not spending money to get keane then so be it.:shamrock:

Keane was brought up to sugar coat a woeful season. I doubt we could stretch to 11 million in one transfer window let alone for one man. We need to strengthen an entire team not put all our eggs in one basket.

i would keane to stay more than a lot of things but we need to build a team to dominate scottish football and we wont do that by spending all the transfer money on 1 man
