If there is one player that will regret ever leaving Celtic, it has to be that fat moaning McDonald.

Since his move to Boro, he has been regularly injured and only able to score once.

I think he will regret leaving the Hoops. And before you say he was pushed by Lawwell, he was constantly angling for more money and jumped at the chance to earn more at Boro, so he pushed celtic as hard as Celtic pushed him.

On that front Mowbray had his number. He hated that faty wee moaning * from the day he took over.

i wasn't his biggest fan, but thats a bit harsh IMO. he didn't want to leave and i certainly can't remember him greeting about more money. having said that, he has had a wee bit too much to say about leaving Parkhead.

I liked him. He banged in good goals for us. Just because he's injured and not on target at Middlesboro doesn't mean he would have been here if he'd stayed. I think it's pretty low of you to be so snide to someone who scored some incredibly important goals.

Very true. He won a lot matches for us and we should be grateful for that.

He's no longer a Celtic Player, so this is no longer Celtic Chat, moved to world football

I think you are being very harsh, Skippy was never one of my favourtie players but he scored plenty goals for us, I wasn't too disappointed to see him go but wished him well.

I don't understand how some fans seem to have a real hatred towards former players, just doesn't make sense to me if they did well for us, thanks for the good times and wish them well if they were poor for us glad they left but generally don't give them a second thought.

He continues to miss penalties, as much as Heid continues to score OGs & get red cards.

Both also continue to talk pish & spin blame onto others for Rangers winning 2IAR, even though they were 1st team Celtic regulars for Rangers' 1 & 1/2 IAR.

Both these guys will never be as good as they are in their own over inflated ego.

I liked him until his interviews after he left... if he had gone with dignity then I would have held him in high regard. Scored some really important goals for us but needs to move on.

Think the OP is way too harsh. In fairness to him he hasn't really had a clear run without injury since he left, and remember he was out after the R****** game, so roughly it has been virtually 3 months. Considering he was with us for 2 & 1/2 seasons, and didn't exactly miss too many games through injury, I guess it was just a matter of time. I believe he might be pushing too hard to come back before being 100%.

Remember, he is desperate to make the Socceroos WC squad.

Never the best footballer in terms of technique. But he was a valuable player for us considering the money we paid and the goals he scored.

He's moved clubs, WGS should tell him to focus on playing for Boro - not moaning about Celtic.

I liked Skippy and was disappointed to see him go. We'll realise how much we miss him when Keano goes. He was a big game player.
