Why are Celtic fans so quick to turn on Every Player?!

I cant stand some of the so called fans, if one of our players has a bad game some people are on them like nothing else, they call for our best players to be booted when there are clearly much worse in the team, a few examples

Nakamura
He got sooo much stick even though he was amazing, some people said he had to go for some stupid reason, said he didnt perform away, held that against him, if he werent here we wouldnt of had some amazing european nights most notably Manu win, some fans cant see an amazing player, Last season he was amazing at winning the ball back, a very big imporvemn in the physical side

UNREAL how much stick he got, again he got us alo tof european wins, scored loads but when he didnt score people wanted him out, WHY? When keane goeas who is left, he was our most consistent goalscorer, he was injured for a bit which is why he wasnt scoring and people got on his back for that, people forget how good the player is after ONE bad performance

Best example of Celtic fans NOT getting behind their players and supporting him, last season going through a bad patch, people were calling through his head, not supporting him, everyone forgot how GOOD a keeper he was, class is permanent, he is still amazing, and people still want him to go now, he is by far the best keeper in the SPL, by far, and if he goes we have lost an amazing keeper, can never be replaced

This was annoys me the most, people crying for caddis to get his chance when hinkel is clearly by far our best RB, he is quality all over, he is improving defensively all the time, and amazing at going forward yet people want him to leave? He players FOR THE SHIRT and is growing as a great leader at the back, did you see him in the OF game, playe dout of his skin last ditch tackles, yet the first leg against dynamo moscow, everyone hated him said he was * and wanted him to go yet the second leg, everyone was prasining him and the same people were saying how good he was, get a grip

He is no doubt a talent and the most talented in our team, yes hes not as consistent as he should be, but when hes on form hes unplayble, and why do we have to sell him? What is forcing him to go? Why get rid of one of our best players? He was great today, been going through a bad patch after have ing a great first half of the season, people forget that though, why cant we get behind our players

I could quite easily go on but use probably get the point, latest bhoy is thomson to get all the stick, yet when he came in he was being praised, its so annoying seeing celtic fans moaning about our GOOD players and wanting rid of them when we shouldnt need to let them go. Even though Naylor isnt the greatest player no doubt he plays for the shirt which is what everyone calls for, id rather have him in there than some * LB who claims to have a wand of a left foot *Fox*

Please can we get behind our good players, instead of being so inconsistent like the players and changing opinions of them on a weekly basis, its embarassing

yeah they are bit its ridiculous saying they are not "celtic class" and all that pish they are the best we have got and there is no need saying they have to leave we can get better when we clearly cant get better

Its fair enough talking about players who arent up to scratch for Celtic ,but take in some factors as to why he isnt ,is the players around that player any better or on the same wavelength ,is the manager playing the player in the right position etc ,personally im not a fan of Browns and he has been tried in numerous positions but i dont see what his best position is cos i dont rate the guy .

 

well i don't rate thompson but i like broonie.he has been playing a holding roll when he is best bombing forward as he done today.

 

i agree, hes a box to box midfielder, under mowbray hes been told to hold which is why we didnt see the best of him, he needs to be alowed to run forward and lennon today said he wants that

Sorry mate but he scored 5 European goals in 24 European games Over 3 seasons so I very much doubt he got us alot of European wins.

People can have opinions. People can say what they feel. We can get better than we have got. We just need someone to spot a good player and strike a good deal. WGS was good at that.

 

Honestly think the nature of our club primarily as an identity symbol to some means we have quite a lot of fans who are not really that into football per se and therefore lack knowledge of the game. Anyway, my point is more than most clubs we (and perhaps Rangers too) have people who are club-mad but not that football mad. That shows in a lack of understanding by a lot of fans. One example is the way fans think missing a pre-season shouldnt mean you are below par. Anyone with any knowlege of the game will tell you that missing a pre-season is often devastating to a players form.

Another group of people who do not have a clue are those annoying bstrds who are not that into football but take up valuable tickets in world cup finals. By all acounts there were a lot of guys at Seville who had previously been to about 2 Celtic matches in their lives and were not the football daft regulars wwho should have had the tickets.

There are players out there who will be cheaper and do a better job but like anything its a case of spotting it at the right time and getting it

ie Larsson Cheap and became an absolute legend

ie Boruc Cheap and could easily be in top 5 GK's in the World

ie McDonald Cheap scored a hatful of goals to win titles

ie Caldwell Free and although had bad times was still a major part of winning titles

ie Nakamura A snip in nowadays prices considering what he brough to the club

ie McGeady Youth player who easily has more flare than every player in SPL and atleast half the players in the EPL

ie Maloney Another youth player who when fit can torment any team in SPL and Probably Europe

I understand what you are trying to say here mate but I disagree a little. Missing pre-season will put a player back but it should not prevent the player from playing at the top of their game once fit. That is why bounce games are arranged, also why we have fitness coaches. Players that miss pre-season would be set certain tasks and spend a few weeks doing 1 on 1 with the fitness coach.

As for the other comment about the ticket scenarios. I totally agree. I also agree with the comment about Celtic and that other team having a large following that are just club mad. But that is the way it always will be.

 

Players down the years have always had that,no matter who they are,even some of our greatest,on Mcgeady with him it gets the supporters frustrating that coaching are not doing thier jobs,puts the ball too far in front of him then falls down trying to get a foul,crossing fails to find its mark,making too many twist and turns when one or two will do,not releasing the ball early enough when strikers are shouting for it,or just taking a chance for himself,so if the fans are seeing these??? why dont the coaches?????,plus how many big games europe or huns has he shone out???

 

to be fair coz celtic are a big team and we celtic fans want to see silverware come in to parkhead but a hate it at the games when people just moan for the full 90 minutes whats the point and that

this * me off as well, the moment player hits a bad patch everyone wants rid of them and hates them, its so annoying

every player has a bad patch, they need support to get them back to normal

We not allowed a say, am a season ticekt holder and spend ma hard earned cash at games and if the players don't preform well i think i have the right to at least be a little critical. We are a big club with big expectations and expect player to play well, the only player i have a problem with tbh is Aiden. He's a great talent not doubting that best player at Celtic yes, inconsistant yes ! I watch him at the games against Killie and he had one of his better games, Aiden has never turned up for Celtic against Rangers except the League Cup final, it's frustrating he is suppost to be our best player yet playing against Rangers it's like we play with 10 men with him on. I like Aiden but he is frustrating and paying my money every year for my season ticket i have the right to be a little critical.
