Yeah a petrov full of comitment is better than brown but he isn't interested anymore....he doesnt want to play for celtic anylonger, he would rather play for a middle of the road premiership team.

 

petrov i think plays in patches wereas scott brown plays consititely well however i must admit i dont watch SHITESPORT much

 

Brown's played 20 games this season and scored 3 goals. How well he's played you can't know unless you've seen the games.

 

I've seen him alot this season and imo he's a top player.

Got great ability but shows superb commitment, playing against Rangers literally with a broken leg. If we can get him then i'd be chuffed.

 

If he is as good as what people say then fair enough, we will need a bigger squad for next year, but we will also need more quality for CL, not just numbers imo.

I think Celtic would be the first to confirm this if the rumours are true but if he does it can only be good news cos that means we wont get that goon Hartley

 

just hope if he comes he gets a decent chance unlike pearo did. left-back should be the priority imo.

I agree Dempsey, technique is lacking. Remember though, he was at about the same stage as these players when we signed him (media flavour of the month, big fish in small pond, newly on the international scene). Will these boys by different? What makes them different?

 

Well, Pearson didn't get much games when he needed them, injury and a "falling out" with MON ruined what he could have been, he didnt make any progress and he wont become much beter than he is now. Young players need games at the highest level possible, they learn the most when the pressure is on, you dont ever get that from reserve matches.

If Wilson, McGeady, Beattie, Kennedy, Virgo, Riordan get long spells in the first team you may see progress like what Maloney has shown. If they dont we sell them but the key is that they play or they are completely wasted potential

 

I agree Dempsey with everything your saying.....but i remain very unconvinced..to say the least about Virgo....bad signing ...imo

 

Dempsey I dont believe in playing players because of their possible potential, ffs play them if they deserve to be played, its a squad the team has, not a fukcing potential farm! *
