From reading through various posts people seem to be mentioning Dermot Desmond doing this n that and Peter Lawwell doing likewise...<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />

It doesn't seem very to clear to me who will actually be appointing the new manager?? and furthermore who will all be involved in appointing TM's successor

Reid and Lawwell have a big say as Chairman and Chief Exec.

Though I imagine Desmond (as majority shareholder) has some input. It was him who put O'Neill forward for the job I believe.

It'll be a board vote. It might be down to one person to sign the contracts but inevitably it'll be a group decision.

Reid and Lawwell have say ofcourse but Desmond has the major say, because O'Neill was Desmond's choice and if Celtic were to go for anyone big he would the person who pays the wages etc because if you look Celtic buy players with the money they make through ticket sales etc but with Roy Keane and Robbie Keane both players who would usually be out of Celtic's wage structure.
