I know first answer to this will definitely be yes, but consider the facts that from the start mowbray had a team on the way down and many knew they were ending up out the door so wouldnt have gave everything, he also worked with a squad costing £110,000 less per week than GS for example danny fox and nguemo's wages combined did not add up to nakamura's wages, he also won a european tie away from home and was put out by a team still in the CL to this day, Another MAJOR factor to consider is the decisions that went against him the most blatant examples in the old firm with the penalties denied and the fortune goal, also the motherwell goal dissallowed against motherwell, all of these would have severely changed things, the media (Daily record) were also almost happy everytime something went against him all you had to do is listen to CLyde 1 superscoreboard to see that, probably because he wouldnt give them an 'in', I genuinly believe if anyone should go it should be lawell, and that TM would have got it right. All the best for the future 'mogga':shamrock:

Mowbray was a decent , honest good guy . But i think the style of play he wants just isnt suited to the spl due to the state of the pitches and when refs let the huns batter anyone. He is also too stubborn to change his ways when it clearly wasn't working, so yes i guess mowbray did do badly

Its a real shame for him and i feel really sorry for him , and as iv said before i hope he finds a job in spain were playing good football is achievable.
    Best of luck tony

He had a combination of things go against him from injuries to suspensions (not allowing a full settled team at times) and dodgy ref decisions but he was always playing catchup from the moment he went public about the players not being good enough and chopping and changing caused more problems.. The January signings were not instant fixes so for that he shoulders a lot of the blame.. If he then blames the baord for leading him a merry dance then fine but we can only go on what we see and it wasn't good enough if he had any ambitions of winning this years league title..
I think he almost became oblivious to the feeling that we were already at rock bottom and the only way could be up , only to find there was worse still to come , but I don't think for a minute that he ever realised one more disasterous result would be the end for him.. I didn't think it was inevitable..

i agree i think we have really jumped the gyn abit here, this is a man who has tried to change us for the better, for * sake he brought in 17 new faces or somethin, plus got rid of the * we had, like wat did last nite prove, we knew the league was over anyways, why did we not put this season behind us an get the * on wit it, now we have to go threw everythin again another knw manager an another ten new faces, some poor decisions bein made by the club!! for me next manager should be Mark Hughes jus go an get him decent manager

head and heart were in the the right place no doubt about that but unfortunately for him it didnt work out, back to the drawing board for the hoops, glad it happened now so theres enough time for a new transition to take effect before the new season with the possibility of a silver lining with the cup

Sad that it didnt work out that well, he never won over the players or all the fans from day 1.
My mate is pals with Odea and he says Mogga come in and mumbles things and noone knows what he says and they laughed at him behind his back

Record was deplorable, football was terrible, analysis of games was terrible, purchases were terrible, PR skills...terrible, motivation skills ..terrible, terrible the way he destroyed our proud european home record, terrible how he had us 13 points behind rangers, terrible how he got west brom relegated and then our board were stupid enough to pay compensation for him (my *!!!), terrible how fans believed him and his promises despite the evidence showing the opposite, all in all....* embarressing for this club!, terrible how he let Skippy and Robson go, need i go on....he was * awfull, and i for one, have no sympathy for him, he is a millionaire, he will be fine,

nice guy, i gave him the benefit of the doubt butthe man is(was) not celtic class: no character, enthusiasm, bite or any signs of emotion plus he seemed a bit of an idiot when it came to tactics!!

TBH, he wasn't my preferred choice when he was unveiled as the manager, however once he was in the job I wanted him to be a success for no other reason than he was the Celtic manager, I want my team to be successful, and by extension the manager to be successful.

That said, when he first walked into the job he needed it was abundantly clear as to all that the defence is what was required immediate attention. As a former CB he should've been able to either teach defenders how to defend, or if the players were not of a standard, then adopt tactics that will negate the individual technical flaws. This alone is enough to ask serious questions of his capabilities. Far too far out of his depth.
