The Da Vinci Code!!!!

I heard the film was confusing and nothing special.

 

My burd nerved me, so I began to read the book - still at site 20 or so - lol.

The hardest thing is, tomorra I will go with her to the cinema - then I will say more about!!!

 

i went to see the movie when it was 1st out and to tell you the truth its not what i expected so it isnt i would give it about 5.5/10 so i would

 

WATCHED THE MOVIE ON OPENING NIGHT.....AND IT * SUCKED!....NOT A COMPLETE WASTE OF MY $14 BUT I SHOULD'VE WAITED FOR THE DVD....I DO BELIEVE THERE IS A LITTLE BIT OF TRUTH IN ALL THIS....BUT WE'LL NEVER KNOW FOR SURE.....THE FACT THAT HOLLYWOOD IS MAKING BILLIONS OFF THIS TOUCHY SUBJECT IS IN RETROSPECT QUITE SICKENING

Surely not, but if the secret would be this for example like in the movie or book - the whole Vatikan and all christian churches would fall.

Moslems would win and take us over - IMO we should get the truth, but still believe in *. Maybe Jesus position from son of * change to prophet of * or something similar - I am open for brainstorming

Everybody have his mind and believe in what he think it´s right - I believe in * and not in a church which caused religious wars, same like the Jihad from the moslems - the same *

 

If you think the church getting angry means they are hinding something you are pretty unintelligent.That would be like not allowing someone into your home and then them saying "what are hiniding,let me.I WANT PIE!"

The church has every right to be angry, the moive is a load of * and has proved it can change the way people think about the catholic church (ie. a few people on this forum). If this movie was about islam and mohammed there would be riots and people would be getting killed on the streets,the church and holding peaceful protest and handling the matter very well.

What!? so because of a bunch of muslims say his a prophet you think his postion should be change. Oh please dont talk rubbish.

well i didnt realise you were having a laugh,i wasnt having a go at you im just abit * off about some peoples negitivty towards the catholic church.

Anyway forget about all this religious stuff 2 weeks to the world cup.

I think he was only referring to the fact that someone can be angry about a book/film that criticises them, without really hiding something, maybe the Catholic Religion and the Vatican are just angry about an anti-catholic book that blames them for something that has been proved a hoax.

I have read the book and went to the cinema on the date when the 'The DaVinci Code' was released, I loved the book, and even though the book has some fair points, its got no facts whatsoever, the Priory of Sion was proved a hoax a couple of years ago.

Why so much anti-catholicism?

Surely Mr. Brown and Hollywood are making millions of $$$ too, why aren't they accused of this too?

If you say the slightest thing against the Jewish religion, everyone will call you antisemitic, however anyone can slag off the Catholic religion without a problem or a worry, a bit unfair I think.

If this was a book against the Jewish religion, there would have been war against it.

 

The world would be a better place in most aspects if religion was non existent.

Creation of Religion is one of the worse if not the worse intangable aspect of living today.
